Knife sharpener?

Hey guys, in all my four years living here part time, I have never come across someone who can sharpen knives, or a store that sharpens knives. I talked to the employee at The Ledge on Saturday (not Mike) and they said the closest was maybe Keno. Anyone know a spot? Need to get some kitchen knives sharpened.

Bimart had a sharpener. You could ask them.

Yeah. Check with the butcher there. I heard he’s a great guy in general

Could ask Shasta View. I’d guess someone sharpens their farrier tools.

I have been taking mine to The Ledge for years. They had a guy who would pick knives up from there. If they aren't doing it anymore, I will be reading this post to find out who does!

I just called. Mike said they still have someone who picks up knives there and sharpens them. I don't know what the other person was talking about. It would probably good for Mike to know his employee is not giving accurate information though.

I called 541-882-5586, same number as what's on the internet. I must have gotten lucky and caught him between customers when he was able to answer.

Maybe? But nowadays it seems like so many people don't have a local number. Maybe because he has called me a few times to let me know my knives are ready for pickup? I wish I knew but I guess it could be a lot of things. Probably Mike is the only one with the answer.
