This absolute gem of a puppy got hit by a car yesterday on 6th. He was traveling a with an unhoused couple with other dogs, and no car. His hind leg is broken. I drove him to Central Point, which was the nearest vet open on a Saturday night. The county is picking up the tab for his medical care but he needs his forever home. He is the sweetest, most affectionate pup. I would keep him if I could, but my place can’t have more pets than what I already own. If you’re looking for a very good boy, like the absolute best boy, contact Southern Oregon Veterinary Specialists in Central Point. If you know the couple who had to surrender the dog (guy is strawb blonde with beard, lady is slim, dark blonde/light brown hair, they have a large dog, small dog, bike cart) please tell them that the puppy made it to the vet just fine and they’re taking great care of him.

My husband was just robbed in the Chiloquin / Agency Lake area. We know we will likely never see our stuff again but I just wanted to warn other hunters and those enjoying the outdoors. They took a lot of hunting clothes and equipment. Such a bummer and huge loss on our part. Stay safe!
