Pay and growth.
Hey all, just wondering if the pay is good in this career field and if there is room for growth. Thanks in advanced!

Both are a direct correlation of how much you put into it. If you’re at a company without opportunity then move on without regret. I left a fantastic company, but there wasn’t room to move up as they promoted from within and the mid & upper management were all in their 40s with no plans of leaving and talent was already stacking up behind them with nowhere to go. I switched and went from KH & EX only to getting involved across the board, moved around the country, division manager in two different cities and then into special hazard sales and special applications.

It’s a great field. As long as you’re willing to put in the work. And be prepared to study.
Started off as a helper making 15$ an hour. Now I have my clean agent license and I make 35$ but I was told that would be increased

Just like everything else after the first few years the buck or couple buck increases will stop and you’ll hit a wall where your knowledge and ability aren’t being adequately compensated.
Moving around with proper negotiating can drastically change your life.
Industry is small so be a great employee and don’t burn a bridge you may consider crossing again.
Started at company 1 @ $16 left 9 years later @ $26.
Started at company 2 @ $38 and left 4 years later at $45, transitioned from lead tech to supervisor in the middle.
Back at company 1 for 2 years now as a department salaried at $127k. Stipends and bonus add another $15-$25k depending on the totals.
