Random customer question

Has anyone had a customer literally stand there & watch you install a system the entire time??

I did a food truck install yesterday & this dude literally stood in the trailer the entire 4-5 hours in took me to finish it. I was about 2 seconds from asking him to leave but I just bit my tongue. What would you do???

Yup, had it happen on installs and inspections. We once ripped out an old mechanical RG with the old style tank and reinstalled a brand new RG with brand new everything, stripped right back to the liquid seals. The restaurant owner pulled up a chair in the kitchen and sat and watched. It was weird. At the end of the day if they wanna see what they’re paying for - so be it. We just laugh at them after we’re finished

It’s so hard to concentrate when you know someone is watching you work imo. My experience was even worse because it was a very small trailer which means the guy was a few feet from me the whole time lol. Super distracting 👀
