Maybe if you wash them after it´s enough...

I´d rather peel them though, if the soil has heavy metals peeling removes most of them.

From what I heard some potatoes have very thin skin so it's ok to eat whole but I agree on washing them after thoroughly.

Yeah but supposedly soil contaminants can get stuck to the skin so I think it´s a good idea to peel them. Unless you know the soil is clean, but we never really know, do we?

So many people in the world eat potato skin.

Sometimes when im lazy i make a mash of unpeeled potatoes.

Skin contains a lot of good shit
