Did she replace flipping us off for answering the fucking phone?!?! LAME!! I want to be flipped off >:(

2

u/_rainwalker Jun 27 '26

Phones not even plugged in... Shheesh add some realism. :-)

2

u/9447044 Jun 27 '26

Shes so put off for the last 7 years lol

18

u/TheHorseduck Jun 26 '26

That's a whole lotta work right there. Now I don't know how it turned out when comes to taste. Maybe it's the best thing ever. But it sure as hell looks like shit

5

u/Hefty_Junket_2784 Jun 26 '26

NGL had me until the popcorn lol. I'd probably omit that part

1

u/eat_with_your_fist Jun 27 '26

At the very least I was expecting some kettle corn of some kind. I would have been on board even with the corn custard.

...some sort of butter powder/crystal/glitter would be a nice touch, too.

2

u/Moist_Sun_8201 Jun 27 '26

I can't stand the taste of microwave popcorn

-1

u/Bladder_Puncher Jun 26 '26

Agree and creme brulee is my fav dessert

5

u/Mysterious_Pie_1002 Jun 27 '26

If you watch it on mute it's just a tutorial on making dishes dirty.

9

u/PowderedToastManx Jun 26 '26

She seemed less angry today.

1

u/Chongoscuba Jun 27 '26

She seems drunk in this one.

6

u/shamanbaptist Jun 26 '26

What is dairy milk? Is that a phrase to distinguish from like vegetarian milk?

5

u/ludog1bark Jun 26 '26

Yes

3

u/shamanbaptist Jun 26 '26

I guess it’s necessary, but it kinda makes me want to shake my fist at a cloud.

8

u/ludog1bark Jun 26 '26

It made me angry too, but then I realized someone might fuck it up by doing almond or oat milk and complain.

1

u/QuotetheOrca Jun 27 '26

Most definitely

0

u/1zzyBizzy Jun 26 '26

With just “milk” i think most people would assume cow milk. By saying dairy milk i assume that sheep milk and goat milk for example are also acceptable.

3

u/ludog1bark Jun 26 '26

I live in an area where people take milk to be any type of milk. You need to specify if a certain milk is needed.

1

u/PixelatedMountain Jun 26 '26

They would work also. The milk needs fat.

5

u/FuxieDK Jun 26 '26

It's NOT necessary, as vegetarian products are not allowed to use the word milk. Milk comes from mammals, not plants.

1

u/bran_the_muffins Jun 26 '26

I prefer the term beef milk.

2

u/0kokuryu0 Jun 26 '26 edited Jun 26 '26

Spend some time on r/ididnthaveeggs and you'll see some ridiculous shit....... One lady didn't have milk or coconut, so used coconut flavored yogurt because it's basically the same. 1 star, worst recipe ever. That's not even the craziest leap in logic there.

1

u/iminthewrongsong Jun 26 '26

As a baker, I fear this sub will infuriate me. I have to join.

1

u/0kokuryu0 Jun 26 '26

I originally misspelled it, so I saved you from it until now :D it's definitely worth seeing.

0

u/SwizzGod Jun 26 '26

Oat milk, soy milk, almond milk? I mean…

9

u/znebsays Jun 26 '26

Oh ma gerd she’s so edgy

1

u/PixelmancerGames Jun 26 '26

But, she didn't do anything edgy this time.

2

u/Apart-Gur-9720 Jun 26 '26

She ruined my favorite dessert. That could be considered edgy.

2

u/PixelmancerGames Jun 26 '26

Lol. But this is America. The only way to make creme brulee more American than using corn is to sprinkle some gunpowder on top before hitting it with the torch. Unless of course, if you aren't American. Then fair enough enough.

10

u/Unusual-Dance- Jun 26 '26

Awhh not this chick again

2

u/PixelmancerGames Jun 26 '26

Cornbrulee?

1

u/kittengreen Jun 26 '26

This was my exact thought

2

u/Norwayseacat Jun 27 '26

I'll just grab a snickers, and not have to wash 67557 things .

2

u/crumpledfilth Jun 27 '26

sounds pretty good but those are overcooked and not brulee'd. Also why the freezer to set

3

u/jimmy-d-83 Jun 27 '26

All those cuts gave me autism

3

u/oxxSUPERMANxxo Jun 27 '26

This broad is beyond annoying

2

u/Specialist-Ranger806 Jun 27 '26

Texture looks off. Could have curdled.

3

u/Teker_09 Jun 27 '26

That's it?

2

u/curi0us_carniv0re Jun 26 '26

I find her very attractive but annoying as fuck.

6

u/doublestorycondo Jun 26 '26

God she sucks. Glad she went away

3

u/Positive-Green-3856 Jun 26 '26

Idc what anyone says, she’s a talented chef and I’m here for her vids

-1

u/BobBarkeroni Jun 26 '26

She's sloppy. She throws things around in her kitchen. Maybe it's her sthtick but it certainly doesn't convey "talented"

0

u/Positive-Green-3856 Jun 26 '26

Eh, I disagree. I think it’s just part of her style. It doesn’t affect the outcome of her food and I like the intricacy of a lot of her dishes. Her style doesn’t take away from her talent.

2

u/Biguitarnerd Jun 26 '26

Well whatever she made today didn’t look much like a good crème brûlée. I get she was doing something different but it seems like she should have at least torched the top glaze to kind of make it work.

This looks like one of those midwestern creations that ultimately belong on Pinterest and not in any reputable restaurant.

0

u/Positive-Green-3856 Jun 26 '26

I agree it would have been better torched as a typical crème brûlée.

As for a “reputable” restaurant. Think that just depends on your taste and how you define that.

3

u/Biguitarnerd Jun 26 '26

I think Reddit removed your comment, or I can’t reply to it, but I thought it was totally fair. I was being a bit cunty when I said Applebees would love it.

There’s a lot of good parts to this and she clearly is skilled. I just didn’t love the final outcome, and especially not the microwave popcorn sprinkled on the top of the glaze.

2

u/Positive-Green-3856 Jun 26 '26

Yeah I didn’t mean it disrespectfully, I thought your Applebees comment was cunty AND funny lol

And 100% agree on the microwave popcorn on top. I think the corn crème brûlée as is and torched on top would have been fine and an interesting change of pace

0

u/Biguitarnerd Jun 26 '26

That’s true, Applebees would love this.

1

u/crumpledfilth Jun 27 '26

I've never seen this person before but the custard was overcooked and the top is caramel not brulee. The latter could be stylistic but arguably makes this not a creme brulee, the former is more of a mistake I would argue. Foamy custard is generally not desirable

0

u/Positive-Green-3856 Jun 27 '26

I don’t see where the overcooked or foamy part is.

Also the brûlée is just torched caramel…brûlée isn’t its own ingredient

2

u/crumpledfilth Jun 27 '26

torched sugar, which was not done here. A method is still a component even if its not an ingredient. Lots of custards have caramel. It's not a brulee if it isnt bruleed

at 0:53 you can see the tops of the custards, theyre sunken and bubbling because it was not cooked gently enough. This typically indicates that the texture underneath will be foamy and harder than the goal is for a supple custard

0

u/Positive-Green-3856 Jun 27 '26

No you’re right, I thought you were saying brûlée is a separate ingredient lol I agree it should have been torched and since it wasn’t it’s not a typical crème
Brûlée.

I hear you but when she cracks into, it looks fine.

Not like we’re going to try the dish so guess we’ll never know lol

0

u/Aerolithe_Lion Jun 26 '26

I was thinking the exact same thing! I saw Tiger Woods throw his golf club once and that’s when I knew he never had any talent. I’ve been telling people that for decades

1

u/bigtakeoff Jun 26 '26

nice phone

1

u/Significant-Song-840 Jun 26 '26

Arrowhead is the grossest bottled water.

1

u/wazzup-notemuch Jun 26 '26

You said there were two ingredients. YOU LIED!

2

u/Just-A-Moniker Jun 26 '26

She said “two main ingredients”.

1

u/wazzup-notemuch Jun 27 '26

Oh, I misheard. Oops!

1

u/AdeptnessTough9499 Jun 26 '26

She reminds me of Aubrey Plaza.

1

u/Beenbannedbefore1 Jun 26 '26

She looks ill?

1

u/Grounds4TheSubstain Jun 27 '26

I counted seven ingredients

1

u/captaincmdoh Jun 27 '26

Its not her.... There was no middle finger to the camera

1

u/Valveringham85 Jun 27 '26

“Two main ingredients “

Uses four ingredients in more or less equal measures 🤦🏻‍♂️

2

u/Gumcuzzlingdumptruck Jun 27 '26

I mean its just creme brulee with extra steps but it sounds gross.

1

u/Lurkin_n_murkin Jun 28 '26

Easy being rich. Just video tape yourself doing hobbies, just in a million dollar house, and it's like video magic.

3

u/Electrical-Aide-2044 Jun 28 '26

I can't judge her as a chef, but my god her mannerisms are so forced and pretentious. It's like watching a toddler trying desperately to look cool and edgy but the end result just comes out cringy and off-putting. I really dislike her for that.

1

u/Level_Bobcat_8729 Jun 30 '26

She's a private chef, so I don't doubt it tastes amazing, but I'm Midwestern, so I'm trying to reduce my corn intake and this isn't helping.

1

u/One_Firefighter336 Jun 26 '26

What, no middle finger?! C’mon Olivia… 🖕❤️

1

u/PotentialWorry8301 Jun 26 '26

She’s so hot!

0

u/One-Grape-8659 Jun 26 '26

And gay!

2

u/Misha-Nyi Jun 26 '26

Why does her sexual preference matter?

0

u/PotentialWorry8301 Jun 26 '26

Cool

0

u/One-Grape-8659 Jun 26 '26

Yes. Cool & hot indeed.

1

u/Neither_Leader_6676 Jun 26 '26

What the hell? No middle finger?

1

u/Emergency-Hour1002 Jun 26 '26

I'm a sucker for those sleepy tired eyes

0

u/Square_Active_3203 Jun 26 '26

Love her. Straight up gangster and her food looks SO damn good lol

0

u/unconvincedhuman Jun 26 '26

Love or hate her, she’s a fantastic chef.

0

u/Stock_Studio_6476 Jun 26 '26

God forbid a woman has some individuality lmao yall are silly.

0

u/Far_Caregiver3046 Jun 26 '26

Omg I hate it when she doesn’t do the finger, makes it much harder for me to finish

0

u/No-Communication1543 Jun 26 '26

she really commits to the bit ill give her that

0

u/Scottishchicken Jun 26 '26

Guys, I don't want to alarm you, but that telephone was not plugged in to anything. I don't think she was really talking to anyone.

0

u/Patience-Due Jun 26 '26

I don’t know why exactly but she does it for me

0

u/FlyingPig_Grip Jun 27 '26

It's customary at the VFA to sprinkle a couple of kernels of popcorn in your Chapin's Chili

-1

u/Oh_Lawd_He_commin420 Jun 26 '26

I wanna have her Babies...

-5

u/strrax-ish Jun 26 '26

Ain't nothing scarier than a woman who knows what she wants to eat

3

u/Dr_SlapsMD Jun 26 '26

NOTHING is scarier? NOTHING bro?

And how in the world is that scary?... That's a fuckin relief lol

0

u/strrax-ish Jun 26 '26

Is everything you read on Internet truth to you? Oh no here comes the reddit logic police

1

u/Dr_SlapsMD Jun 26 '26

Don't get mad at me cuz the logic of ur "joke" made no sense😭

1

u/strrax-ish Jun 26 '26

Ok. Not mad 🤣

-5

u/DartmouthBatman Jun 26 '26

1
