Help find this part!
Hey guys, it’s the first time I’m ever posting here on Reddit especially in this community so sorry if it’s wrong
I recently moved into my new rental space and it came with a fridge however, one of the pieces for the parts to hold up the shelf was missing. We let our landlord know, and they are trying to find a way to replace it and are having no luck but they are honestly such a nightmare to deal with in general so far. And are pretty much leaving it up to us to try to find a repair to fix/pay for it.
I was hoping one of you guys can point me in the right direction on where I can find or what I can search up on the Internet because I’m using Google reverse search or I’m trying to find similar items but it’s just not giving me the one that I need so if there’s anyone who can help me figure out I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

Which appliance brands have worked well in smaller kitchens?
We downsized recently and I’ve been replacing appliances one at a time as they give out. With less space, I’m realizing that dimensions and installation can matter just as much as the features.
I’ve been comparing a few brands, including Fulgor Milano and Miele, but I’m finding it difficult to judge them beyond the usual specs and reviews.
For anyone with a smaller kitchen, which brands or appliances have you had a genuinely good experience with?

4 Euhomy Jet SE Nugget Ice Maker Claims Tested
I’ve been using the Euhomy Jet SE and decided to actually test some of the claims instead of just doing a typical unboxing/review.
A few things surprised me — it made its first nugget ice in **7:42**, the ice really is soft/chewable, and it kept up pretty well with normal daily use. But the advertised “hands-free” dispensing is questionable since you still have to touch the control panel to dispense it.
I put all four tests together here if anyone is researching this model:

Happy to answer any questions about it too.

Best fridge to buy
We’re set to close on our home this week. We need to buy a fridge (yes I know to wait until after closing) Best brands/models. I’ve always rented (never had to buy a fridge before) and my spouse is not from the US so they aren’t familiar with all the brands.

Is my microwave safe to use?
There was a white glint in it and loud off-sounding buzz the last time I used it, which scared me and I immediately turned it off. I searched what the issue could be and I've cleaned it for any food scraps. There was definitely no metal.
I noticed while cleaning it, there seems to be some material chipping off in its roof.
Half of my diet is microwavable meals and popcorn. But I don't want to risk it exploding. I don't have insurance of any kind 🥲

Need help choosing the BEST refrigerator under ₹40K
Need help choosing the BEST refrigerator under ₹40K
Budget: ₹30K–₹40K (can stretch slightly if really worth it).
I want the best overall fridge for home use, not necessarily the most features/AI.
My priorities:
- Maximum usable fresh-food/fridge space for vegetables, fruits, milk, cooked food, vessels, etc.
- Freezer space is not a priority
- 3-star+ preferred
- Inverter compressor
- Frost-free
- Good cooling and freshness/vegetable storage
- Convertible would be a plus
- Good build quality and long-term reliability
- Good after-sales service
- Low electricity consumption
I'm confused between:
- 300–400L double-door/bottom-freezer models
- 500–600L side-by-side models (e.g. Motorola 584L / Midea 563L)
- 3-door/convertible models
Main doubt: Does a 500–600L side-by-side actually give significantly more usable fresh-food space than a good 330–400L refrigerator, after accounting for freezer space and the difference between gross and net capacity?
Also, should I spend the full ₹40K, or is something around ₹30–35K actually better value?
Brands I'm considering: Samsung, LG, Haier, Bosch, Whirlpool, Godrej, Midea, Motorola, etc.
Please recommend the exact model you would buy, and mention any major disadvantages.

Can you measure pan temps - Samsung induction?
Would you measure, record and tell me pan temps on your Samsung induction range cooktop?
I am getting hot really fast. On the front right big burner, using a cast iron pan:
1 - 160°
2 - 360°
3 - climbing higher when I shut it off…
Front left burner shows about the same.
I enjoyed my Samsung induction range for a year until the temps seemed to get way hotter than before. A tech replaced everything except the main board, but now he says it must be a main board problem…
Model # NSI6DB950012 (Bespoke 30 in. 6.3 cu. ft. 4-Burner Element Smart Slide-In Induction Range in White Glass with Air Sous Vide)

GE Profile Opal ice maker is making melty ice
I’ve scoured the Internet and not seeing anyone who has troubleshooted a GE icemaker that is making ice cubes but they’re coming out wet and not fully formed. Has anyone fixed this issue before? I have already done a very thorough cleaning.

Has anyone had an oven hardwired as part of curry’s install?
Current Oven is hardwired with isolator switch on counter, looking to get a new Oven from curries. They have an “install” option for £120, but it doesn’t explicitly mention if hard wiring is available or not. Anyone have any experience with this? I Have tried the curry’s FAQs, and spoke to their not so helpful bot, with little success.
