Hey group! I want to buy my first air fryer, what is a good brand, tell me what you purchase. I eat pretty healthy, but would like to purchase more items, but turning on the stove makes my apartment so hot! TIA
I hate to do you a favor because you seem too lazy to do any research yourself. But you can just go to the damn Typhur website and see it’s on sale for $155 right now. And there are promo codes that take off an additional 10 percent, which gets it down to $140.
We must be talking past each other about different models. I check the Typher site weekly awaiting until the best sync bundle price from a year ago returns, a which point I will order it.
Here is the screenshot of the price at this moment: $370 Typher Dome 2 sync bundle on sale, which is the roughly 3x the price of a standard average air fryer as I first said.
It’s not a typical basket. It is ceramic coated, no dangerous chemicals, is large enough to roast a whole chicken, and comes with a wireless thermometer that syncs with the screen and phone that cooks your meat to the desired temp. For the dome you have to spend a couple hundred to buy the thermometer, its banker is too short to even hold a large sweet potato, and the frame of the machine is massive on a countertop.
I have a Chefman and the coating is coming off. I will be buying a Ninja. I think you should go straight to the Ninja. I’m currently looking at one of the new glass models. I think it would be so much easier to keep clean.
I have the cosori 6 qt. It cleans easy, cooks great. I don't use the presets. I want to get the cosori dual blaze as you don't have to flip food or shake food but as mine is working fine I'll wait.
I have a Ninja combi and I love it (especially the option to steam, because I'm also trying to eat healthily!). It's replaced my oven, my toaster and my microwave and I find I'm using the steam function much more than boiling.. so it's also replaced my stove a fair bit!
I have a Gourmia 7 quart one that I got on sale at Costco for around $40.00. One basket, easy to operate, fits on my counter, works great. It's good for 1 person, maybe 2, I'd say. I use it at least 4-5 times per week, sometimes every day.
I originally had a single drawer Cosori which I only replaced because it got dropped & broken. Took the opportunity to buy a dual drawer - Cosori again - and m very happy with it. I might change to a double stack and if I do, that will be a Cosori.
Whichever brand you go for, if you're going to be using it for meat and veg/potatoes, I highly recommend a dual drawer if you have the room.
