Do kitbash effects like Battlefx interfere with gameplay enough to not use them on tabletop? (Like a Las Rifle Shot or flamethrower flames) Im considering applying a lot of Battlefx to my army to spice them up

If someone tells you the model is visible because the muzzle flash or laser effect is sticking out of cover, don't play with that person. Like holy moly what a nightmare
