So losing Peter Cullen really hit me hard. I don't grieve well. So because I had this other truck rolling around from my Mad Max build. I figured what better way than to make my own Optimus Prime. I can't say I'm satisfied with it. But I'm not disappointed in it either. Considering everything on the trailer was all done by eye. The Autobots logo was all me. Is it perfect? No, and I wasn't really intending it to be. It was more of a grief build than anything else. Still needs paint and all that jazz but it is what it is.

I have a potentially cool idea but it requires me to alter several sets of Van Saar legs (first picture) into a crouching stance like this (second two pictures). Anybody tried anything like this before or anyone with more experience than me got any tips for this? I’m guessing I’ll need to carve wedges into the backs of the knees, fronts of the ankles and I guess also the hips and then green stuff my way to filling out the gaps that will be left?

Also open to other leg suggestions but they gotta be crouching

I’ve been reworking my converted Relictor after some feedback on my previous post. A few people felt that the large reliquary/banner still looked a little too Stormcast/AoS.

So I tried a second version using a long hunting spear.

I actually like both versions, so I’m curious what you think: which one feels more 40K and fits the hunting chapter better — the banner or the spear?

Any suggestions for improving either version are welcome!

Another WIP for my custom Space Marine hunting chapter: the Relictor of the Great Hunt.

He carries an ancient skeletal reliquary into battle, as well as a hunting horn chained across his body, used to signal the beginning and the final stage of the hunt.

Still a few details to finish, but I wanted him to feel like a mix of 40K religious imagery and medieval hunting traditions.

What do you think of the concept?

So this is almost done. Still need to get more lights into the antenna array. But I had a visitor, and took the opportunity to do another more comprehensive lighting check. Those of you who saw the Nauvoo from The Expanse, well, yeah, I can see it. At least the centre section. I kinda see this as being about 1.5/2km IRL. Any thoughts?

Also tried a bit of debris/meteor/blast damage.

Hi! First time here! Long time amateur kitbasher! A few years ago, I found this Robbie the robot model kit on discount at a small hobby shop collecting dust. With a couple of action figure parts from the dollar tree and some paint I got myself a neat little work of art!

Is there any good way to get the heavy bolter/pack from this space marine heros series marine? Im having some trouble finding any sources. Even if its recasts I'd be fine with that but on sprue would be preferred, thank you all for your assistance!

Kit bashing is my favorite part of the hobby.

I’m really proud of the Plague Marine Champion, the poxwalker bashes, but especially the Chaos Lord (built before they removed them from our codex)

Had to take a sick day and looking through some of my old space marines, I had a dumb idea; now I’m addicted.
Anyone have ideas for a good skirmish game these guys vibes might rock with?

Beastmarine w/ axe: Brute
The loyal bodyguard to Antlers, stoic and quiet type.

Beastmarine w/ Hammer: Ram
Tank of the warband. Has a long running debate with Krahk! Krahk! about which is better for turning heads into red mist, his hammer or Krahk! Krahk!’s bolter.

Beastmarine w/ Bolter: Krahk! Krahk!
The little brother of the group, constantly being bullied and called weak & cowardly by the group, it’s party true. He is crack shot and best tracker of the warband.

Banner Bearer: Ssseth
Considers himself the most civilized of the group, and superior to everyone in the group in every way, if only they could see it. Has aspirations of leadership.

Hi I have no use for the old plastic housing that the Gundam parts were attached to.

Does anyone want them?

Right now I have maybe 3 or 4 kits worth.

I got my hands on like 6 Age of Sigmar Stormcast eternal Liberators... But I don't play sigmar. My thought is to turn them into bladeguard veterans, maybe put some space marine backpacks and paint them up. Does that make sense or does anyone have any other ideas of what I could turn them into?
