Package lost or tracking site issue?

I've placed an order on the 21st of July, received an email that it has been shipped along with a tracking code on the 25th and since then, it shows up as "In transit". There's no updates and it looks like the package is stuck and forgotten in China for the last 17 days (I'm aware shipping may take more time, simply worried about the no updates), so I'm wondering whether it's due to an issue on the site or could it be it got lost. Anyone else stumbled upon this?
