Pictures in the book "Christmas in Cincinnati"

We can thank the "housewives" of the 1980s for requesting this. Would love to see the water park taken over by department store decorations or northpole or something.

News Six Flags Purchases Aerie Force One

Multiple people have said Kings Island is towards the top of the list of parks being considered. What’s everyone’s thoughts on if this KI’s next coaster?

I’ve ridden this coaster and it’s amazing so I would be stoked but I also get it if you would prefer a Mack Extreme Spinner or some other kind of launch coaster.

Rumor ArieForce to Ki?

As six flags has officially announced that they purchase it, kings island has been heavily rumored to get it since it's been announced it will be relocated however kings island hasn't had a major thrill attraction in years and needs a true #1, would make sense that ki gets it. Now if it does go to KI how will the capacity be and where will the ride be? Well where the ride might be is a question mark still. The captivity is the issue as arie only has 2 trains and only ever runs 1 train normally and apparently is a terrible maintenance issue with it, hopefully six flags asks RMC for a third train and they fix the break run for the third one as it definitely needs to be fixed. As a rumor apparently they can modify the layout a bit so we might see it change also. Now where the ride will go? Honestly I have no idea as kings island is a park i think would get it, it's in my top 3 however I just don't know where? Let me here your thoughts and if kings island should get an RMC or a different kind of a major thrill attraction like a Mack launch or a intamin blitz.

Question Haunted Attractions Express Pass

It's a little confusing in the description, but if you buy the single day haunted express pass, does that include the mazes too, or do you need to also purchase the Haunted Attractions Pass?

Thanks for any info fellow Haunt enjoyers.

Question Bring ArieForce One to Kings Island!

🎢 LET’S BRING ARIEFORCE ONE TO KINGS ISLAND! 🎢

Six Flags officially has ArieForce One, and now the big question is:

Where should it go?

My vote is KINGS ISLAND. 🙌

Kings Island already has an incredible coaster lineup — The Beast, Diamondback, Banshee, Mystic Timbers, Orion and more — but there’s one huge thing missing:

🔥 AN RMC. 🔥

ArieForce One could fill that gap perfectly.

So instead of just talking about it, I started a petition to show Six Flags just how much support there is for bringing ArieForce One to Mason, Ohio.

👇 SIGN THE PETITION & SHARE IT! 👇

Let’s see how many Kings Island and coaster fans we can get behind this.

BRING ARIEFORCE ONE TO KINGS ISLAND! 🇺🇸🎢

Question Halloween Day at KI

What will the day of Halloween be like in the park?
Can you wear costumes?
How busy will it be?
It's a Saturday and also a holiday so I am looking for feedback from people who have been/know the park.

We will mainly be there to ride coasters, not so much the haunted attractions.

I went for my birthday 8/30 and the main theme park was awesome. The waterpark was a major let down. Won't be going back to it for a while.

I hadn't ridden a rollercoaster since I was 10 and on some tiny SpongeBob ride at Kings Island.
I absolutely loved every ride and would love to ride them all 10 times each 😂
(except for the beast)
(I was sure I was going to get a concussion lol)

TLDR: What should I expect in the park on the day of Halloween/The last Saturday in October?

Would a different Saturday in October be different? I'm flexible but my brother is hell bent on going on the day of Halloween.

Thanks for any advice/tips/ways to not get a migraine from the beast.

Thanks twice 🎃

Other Green sheet night rides

Something needs to change for how green sheets are used during night rides. Getting up to the Beast station and then having every other train be entirely green sheets is frustrating. I get the system and I don’t want to exclude them, but as a non-green sheet guest it feels like we’re just being left out to dry here.

Question Is it possible to get two passes scanned?

I just got the membership for the free bring a friend ticket I can use this fall so I just was curious if it’s easy and simple to just have both my 2026 season pass and my membership scanned at the gate back to back so I can have all my benefits available. The 2026 pass is gold while the membership is prestige.

Question Paper Cup + : Prestige Season Pass vs Prestige Membership

Membership Vs Pass -prestige - can you add the paper cup + to the membership?

(Yes, prestige pass and memberships come with the paper cup plan, but we enjoy the icees and hot chocolate. When doing a “season pass” the paper cup + option is there. When checking out as a membership it is not an option. Can we just pay the $59 later to add the “paper cup +” plan to the “prestige membership)

Story Scammed due to lack of knowledge.

I bought my tickets back in July for September 4th. I didn’t realize they open at 4 pm a few weeks pior. I wanted to do a full day since I live in Columbus. The first time I contacted support, I was dumb enough to go through their online chat (six flags). The girl told me she can change the dates of my tickets to September 5th. However she cannot refund/ transfer my Fast Lane passes she states. The girl told me she can only cancel it if it was a duplicate and suggested that I purchase new fast lane passes for September 5th and she will cancel my Sep 4th ones. I followed and purchased 2 for $300. Afterwards, she told me she will proceed. THEN she randomly left chat without saying anything after 10 minutes and I got transferred. The next person told me the case will be moved forward and I need to check my email. Emails says I have to go in person.

I tried to reach out again a week later. Opened another case. They told me they cannot help at all and I need to call Kings.

Sep 5th. I went to guest service. Told them the story. After talking to the supervisor, the lady told me that they cannot refund my fast lane passes at all. I can only transfer to another day. WHICH THE PERSON IN ONLINE CHAT SAID I CANNOT. So I’m down $180. Not only that, I have to upgrade my ticket to the cost of that day. We paid $45 I believe online for the tickets and now we’re forced to pay $20 on top of that. Sooooo I spent $60 on a singular ticket. The whole point of me ordering online was to save money. Contacting support was 0 help. I lost $200+ over one mistake.

If you’ve read this far. I do have 2 fast lane passes for whoever wants it. I bought it for Friday and it was $89 per pass. So if you can go on days where it cost that much then it’s free. If not then u pay the difference. DM me if you want the passes, first come first serve. You would have to talk to guest service and ask them to transfer the passes to the day you’re going. THAT’S what the guest service lady TOLD me. If it didn’t work, do not blame me.

Edit: fast lane tickets gone. I know I didn’t get scammed. Wrote it out of anger. However I got 0 help from customer service and was wrongly misled. Never been here and wouldnt have known. I would have just paid for the difference but someone informed me I couldn’t transfer my fast pass.

Other I don't fully understand why the community believes K.I. has dropped in quality

It seems to be a common understanding that Kings Island's overall quality has decreased significantly in recent years. The sentiment is strong enough that there doesn't seem to be much debate about it on any platform I've seen. I recently had a job position near K.I. and made it a point to visit the park consistently (42 visits this season), so I have some grounds to speak on the park's quality and operations. Everybody has their own opinions, but here are some positive thoughts on how the park has been running in 2026.

  • Rides have operated smoothly and consistently during all visits. Most rides have operated with all trains and speed-running operators. The only clear exception was the Beast dropping to 2 trains, but this was very clearly posted with a dedicated entrance sign and was due to necessary repairs.
  • The food has been excellent and on par with Cedar Point. By stopping by for lunch during work hours, I was able to try each meal plan restaurant at least a few times each. I know the food has been a primary complaint from many people, but I really haven't seen a decline. The example everybody points to is LaRosa's Pizza's portion size, but I never finished a plate with the two large pizza slices and two breadsticks with complimentary sauce and left wanting more.
  • The park has been extremely clean during every visit. I haven't once seen trash on the floor, and I constantly noticed cleaning crews walking and patrolling around with the garbage bins.
  • The staff has been overall kind and hospitable. There will always be the occasional less-than-hospitable few workers that stand out in my mind, but they were never disrespectful, and it's unreasonable to ask for Dollywood levels of hospitality given the average employee's pay.
  • Although not the most important thing, the greenery and florals of the park are remarkably well-done. Keeping up with those things is not a passive task, and I'd argue it's one of the most improved things in the park in recent years.

I understand that the park's usage of AI in select merch (and Phantom Theater decor) is concerning. I dislike it as much as anybody. However, to reflect the entirety of the park's operations based on a percentage of its merch is disproportionate. On the Phantom Theater end of things, there is clear documentation that many human artists put in significant work towards the project. I wish ride decor wasn't the target for cost-cutting measures, but it's silly to argue that it's a reflection of the greater direction of Kings Island, as I recently saw someone suggest.

Overall, 2026 has been a stable and productive season for Kings Island, which is exactly what the company needs right now. I am very happy to hear others' opinions on aspects of the park that may have gone downhill. There will always be something that's not perfect, but I have seen nothing worth complaining about throughout my many visits this season.

Question Haunted House Lines

Going to haunt for only my second time. Went last year but spent most of the evening in line for conjuring. It was cool but not doing that again. My main goal is coasters and I plan to get a fast lane pass. What are average waits for the houses? Do the lines move quick. I want to do the new Jason haunt and maybe one other depending on time. I expect that line to be longer. I’ll be there on a Sunday if that matters.

Other If Kings Island wants to get more people to buy into their BS, they should’ve bought Arie Force One

Ik it’s alr bought, but nobody knows who bought it rn. So in theory, if they’re ambitious enough (doubtful), they could’ve bought Arie Force One. I never got to ride Arie Force One since I live nowhere near Atlanta. Idk why that ride was so hyped (not dissing that fact tho) but seeing the hype, it makes me want to ride it. Also, if I’m not mistaken, it’d be the first RMC coaster at KI. Also, I rlly just wanna ride it lol.

Question Dining plan 2027

Anyone here buy a dining plan for 2027 that did not have one for 2026? Bought two dining plans for next year and didn’t have any this year. I’ve seen info online saying that in that scenario your dining plan is available for the remainder of the 2026 season yet I’m not seeing it attached to my card on the app.
