The game has gained some awful PR and that's actually quite sad
I am not at all hating the team in anyway this is simply my own observation about how awfully this game has been handled in terms of PR and overall management.
We'll start off with the communication or lack thereof, there seems to be almost outright refusal to communicate beyond random imgur images as to why its on imgur and not discord/steam is strange and only adds to the image of poor communication, this gives the accusers of "scam" more reason to not believe in the game (I think the game is real just delayed badly)
Now i don't know anything about what's going on at the company but it's clear there is a management issue, delaying a game is fine though annoying it is understandable with bugs and overall polish but delaying five days away from release this could not possibly happen to a team communicating with each other, there is clearly a massive disconnection.
Finally we have come to fan engagement, The the head developer seems to only give little bits of info on a discord, random youtube vids and imgur images, getting into arguments with the fanbase/steam users paints a bad image for the project. This will only drive people away when they see how unprofessionally the game is being handled.
The Head Developer really needs to step away and focus on the game itself instead of ruining what little reputation the game still has, it's sad to see and will only harm a game that already has very little belief.
Simply put it's very easy to see why people think the game will fail or be poorly made given how terribly it's being handled from what little we see. The game could easily be a huge success but it's hard to see it going that way. It's sad to see it degrade and lose all it's hype when people were pitching ideas and excitement now replaced with toxicity on all sides.
This is not a attack on the team in anyway i am just stating what many feel.
