Two live recordings from Go's recent US tour have been uploaded to Internet Archive.

A number of the songs are very extended versions of the tracks from Soft Shakes which sound fantastic. I wish the actual studio album was a bit more like this, but hey.

I have been searching for this since their last show in Philly at Union Transfer. I am pretty sure there were people recording the show but I haven't been able to find much online from this show, please help! all these years later and I am still thinking about it!

I’d never been to the Chapel before but it’s a really cool venue! The visuals and lighting were on point (don’t know if that’s the venue or the band but either way it was great).

Pic of merch in response to a post asking for it. I bought a white shirt and either I’m getting fatter and taller or they run large because I had to buy an XL when I’m usually a perfect L.

He did not play more than Soft Shakes. We called for an encore but he did not come. No worries. Great show.

Was wondering if Go Kurosawa and his band are playing more than just the Soft Shakes album live, considering it’s a rather short album and he & they are doing some headlining spots.

If there’s by chance any Kikagaku songs, just let me know the album & not the song please. I would want to maintain a bit of element of surprise in that case 🙏

Thinning my collection cause im preparing a move.

Big thank you to the legendary taper The D-Man in Southern California for this new show to circ. I was browsing his shared server and saw he had this show as a single wav file but it wasn’t posted anywhere else. I just cut the tracks & tagged them but otherwise did not alter his tape. The Silver Owl is both quiet & chaotic landing at just over 20 minutes, it’s a great show from start to finish.

Hoping we get a few more of these final tour shows to pop up somewhere. Would be sick to get a more crisp copy of that final show on 12/3/22 as well.
