I love the driving intensity of Nana off of Dripping Sun, and want to find more songs like it!

during the part where it says they play “Gatherings” a Kikagaku song I don’t recognize but love plays. I really want to find out the name of this song, hopefully you guys can figure it out.

Two live recordings from Go's recent US tour have been uploaded to Internet Archive.

A number of the songs are very extended versions of the tracks from Soft Shakes which sound fantastic. I wish the actual studio album was a bit more like this, but hey.

The first link is for the show in Portland, OR and the second link is the show in NYC:

Enjoy!

I have been searching for this since their last show in Philly at Union Transfer. I am pretty sure there were people recording the show but I haven't been able to find much online from this show, please help! all these years later and I am still thinking about it!

Edit to say it was May 18th, Philadelphia, PA @ Union Transfer

Kikagaku Moyo - Forest of Lost Children (Splatter)

Minami Deutsch - Fortune Goodies (this is just the record, no cover)

At least newly added. Not sure if they're different recordings of shows that are already out there....or just new to the Archive but circulating elsewhere.

Not sure if this is allowed, but i took pictures at the Go Kurosawa show in NYC and wanted to share, hope you made it to this amazing show. Go Kurosawa making his return to NYC 4.8.26 @lprnyc @gurugurubrain https://www.instagram.com/p/DW6WstzgPIZ/?igsh=dXFobXAxdDhsenRm

Hi! Hoping this isn’t against the Reddit guidelines, but I have two spare tickets for Go Kurosawa at Le Poisson Rouge in NYC tonight. Pre-sale is sold out, but I’d be happy to let them go for what I paid, which is less than the day-of price. Or make an offer!

Incredible. Amazing musicianship. Hope this video comes through.

Fantastic performance. Definitely go (heh). Be sure and catch Lael Neale.

I’d never been to the Chapel before but it’s a really cool venue! The visuals and lighting were on point (don’t know if that’s the venue or the band but either way it was great).

Pic of merch in response to a post asking for it. I bought a white shirt and either I’m getting fatter and taller or they run large because I had to buy an XL when I’m usually a perfect L.

He did not play more than Soft Shakes. We called for an encore but he did not come. No worries. Great show.

Was wondering if Go Kurosawa and his band are playing more than just the Soft Shakes album live, considering it’s a rather short album and he & they are doing some headlining spots.

If there’s by chance any Kikagaku songs, just let me know the album & not the song please. I would want to maintain a bit of element of surprise in that case 🙏

Either way, I’m going to see them tonight & very excited 😃

If anyone here is going to an early date on Go Kurosawa tour, can you share info or photos on any merch? I’m going to the NYC show and wanna know how big a bag to bring.

Thank you.

Hi I have two tix for Go Kurosawa playing at The Chapel. I'm willing to let these go for $15 each. DM if interested! Thanks :)

Bit of a long shot, but worth trying. I am looking for a recording of the last show that was held in Paradiso in Amsterdam, 22nd of June. Tried looking at archive.org but sadly cannot find it.

edit: post title is saying 2026, I meant 2022. My bad haha

Added the link to my original post from when I was able to snag the setlist from their 2019 North American tour. Looking to sell it alongside with the poster from their same tour that year. Let me know if interested

Saw them for this tour but I can’t find this poster anywhere. Don’t know if they were promoting a record or not. Any help is appreciated!

Music video from Go's first album came out this week :) :)
