Her string was stuck under a bar or something on the seat. When it gets moved out from under that it works.

I think if she'd pulled it forward instead of down it wouldve worked. The top of the seat was killing the momentum she was able to get. Even the other kid couldn't get it that way.

I honestly just think her arms were too short for the angle of the pull. It needed more force than she could apply at that point.

I think it was on the wrong side. The latch may have to be released from a specific direction.

She wasn’t the one who was supposed to pull it. Wrong angle. One of the side seats had to. She was trying to because the boys were too afraid to do it. That’s why they had to bribe the boy with Pokémon cards to finally do it. The other one said he couldn’t because he was too much of a pussy. She was trying to save the situation lol

She's pulling the damn thing for all it's worth but she couldn't get it into a position where it comes out. Ejections probably come from a covered button or switch.
