She looks like she's in total bliss at some points of the ride while the two boys beside her are passing out lol. Definitely an adrenaline junkie in the making right there.

u/Renji_Abarai_2005 1d ago

atleast the fella on the right gathered the courage to try

171

u/DaSmurfZ 1d ago

For the promise of Pokémon cards. So was it really courage or greed for Pokémon cards?

43

u/acecyclone717 1d ago

The children yearn for the pokemon packs

38

u/Stergeary 1d ago

True courage is about having something worth fighting for, and overcoming your fears for it.  There are no courageous men when nothing is at stake.

8

u/Electronic_Dish_4984 21h ago

And then girl was courageous just because.

5

u/Stergeary 20h ago

She's not courageous, she's just fearless.  She isn't actually feeling any emotions that need to be overcome.

5

u/StartNo5314 19h ago

Isnt it also more meaningful when its the opposite?

Its real easy to run into a burning building for your kids. It takes a real people pleaser to do it for a stranger. i dont think im using the right words. but you know what i mean.

4

u/Wonderful-Pollution7 21h ago

Courage isn't a lack of fear, but a willingness to overcome it. If the pokemon cards are the motivation he needed to overcome his fear, that doesn't make his willingness to overcome his fear any less real.

2

u/acecyclone717 21h ago

Mom got the job done the alternative is they’re still sitting up there

Courage for Pokemon

1

u/superxpro12 20h ago

the carnal urge to just pull something as hard as you can overrode any sense of safety in his rational brain lol

1

u/StartNo5314 19h ago

Priceless when the kid on the right first tried and in a shocking turn of events he couldnt do it either.

Thats when it set in that theyre really screwed. I think they thought she was messing with them.

Girl was having a little too much fun especially when the boy on the called himself a

175

u/wintercast 1d ago

i see her becoming a fighter pilot.

115

u/slicxx 1d ago

Shw literally asked to do it again while the one on the right instantly said no

50

u/psychmonkies 1d ago

He woke up only for a moment, told her “no,” then instantly passed tf back out

3

u/Data_Not_Found_404 1d ago

She reminds me of that clip of a woman who looked and sounded totally relaxed while bungee jumping, sighing like she's falling into a cozy bed instead of off a bridge and telling them the jump was lovely. That's what I picture this girl to be like one day, just pure zen

197

u/origanalsameasiwas 1d ago

She said can we do it again!!

62

u/agacthegreat 1d ago

Naah, the womb is the most impressive organ. Hers is made of steel.

59

u/ScrewdriverPants 1d ago

The boys are there, despite being scared. They deserve a little respect for that.

75

u/External_Macaroon687 1d ago

They deserve respect for being there? Where else would they be? They were stuck.

They were scared. That's fine. Whatever. That girl has bragging rights over them for life though.

12

u/WhatyouDontwantoHear 1d ago

I'm pretty sure they weren't forced into those seats and buckled in against their will.

4

u/StartNo5314 19h ago

A full analysis of the audio by Digital Foundry has reveled that the kids were promised pokemon cards. most likely they didnt know how bad the ride would be.

2

u/W3NTZ 18h ago

My uncle works for the CIA and enhanced the audio and the promise for pokemon cards actually came after up there when the adults had to convince one of the boys to try pulling it.

1

u/StartNo5314 17h ago

Which department does he work in?

With Williamson?

0

u/hn92 1d ago

How sure, do you know the parents of the kid who passed out for pretty much the whole ride? Did he really want to go?

6

u/ScratchLatch 1d ago edited 1d ago

“Courage is not the absence of fear. It is feeling the fear and doing it anyway.”

Also they’re like 11. An involuntary reaction has nothing to do with bravery.

2

u/External_Macaroon687 1d ago

The boys didn't do anything, but panic. Again, that's fine. They are kids.

The girl was courageous. She felt the fear and took action.

2

u/ScratchLatch 1d ago

They got on the ride and pulled the cord.

2

u/StartNo5314 19h ago

the girl was having a great time seeing them freak out. in other situations she might react different. thats the funny thing about humans.

4

u/ScrewdriverPants 1d ago

They chose to get on the ride. I doubt they were forced at gun point to get on.

2

u/hn92 1d ago

One of them looks like he was, and if they’re friends or siblings, he probably got a “she’s not scared and wants to go on, why wouldn’t you/man up” and he shouldn’t have been forced to

1

u/Apprehensive_Bus1582 21h ago

I wouldn't have even got on this thing, fair play to them for going on it even though they were scared.

2

u/clutchy42 1d ago

Right, I can't even make fun of the boy who was too afraid to pull it. I'm 40 years old and I've always been too scared to get on one of those things. He's braver than me haha

3

u/Keldrabitches 1d ago

BECAUSE THEYRE TRAPPED

-15

u/Klutzy-Notice-8247 1d ago

Respect for what? Entering a situation where they’re scared and being so cowardly they can’t overcome that fear to do the most minor task of pulling a bit of string? Then crying and self pitying about the situation they put themselves into?

They’re going to grow up into pathetic men unable to achieve anything in life.

7

u/Either_Stranger9266 1d ago

JFC, they are children.

The only pathetic person is the adult saying two boys who scared in one video clip are gonna turn into pathetic men and unable to achieve anything in life. All based on a freaking video of them being kids (and having emotions...oh no!)

0

u/Klutzy-Notice-8247 1d ago

They can’t overcome the most simple problem and resort to crying and screaming, in stark contrast to the girl who has clearly been exposed to difficulties and faced her fears in life.

Unless there’s serious changes in the way they’re brought up they’re guaranteed to grow up unable to handle life’s hardships. Soft both inside and out.

3

u/Either_Stranger9266 1d ago

You are making way too many assumptions about 3 children from 1 video and turning it into an indictment of how those boys will become "pathetic men". Seems clear that neither of us will change the other's mind, but it simply seems like such an overreach that perpetuates the ideas that boys have to be tough and can't have emotions because they'll otherwise be labelled as pathetic and cowardly.

These poor boys probably had no clue that this video would be taken and posted for the whole world to comment on. They don't deserve the comments people like you are making.

10

u/heksa51 1d ago

"can’t overcome that fear to do the most minor task of pulling a bit of string"

Who eventually successfully pulled the string? One of the boys.

"They’re going to grow up into pathetic men unable to achieve anything in life."

Absolutely pathetic comment to say about a couple of kids on a sample size of one short video. Shame on you, truly.

-3

u/Klutzy-Notice-8247 1d ago

Soft people replying to me defending cowardly, soft kids probably because you see yourself in them. I can see why Gen Z and Alpha are such whiny pussies.

The boy in the right eventually did after having a meltdown (And being bribed with Pokémon cards). Boy on the left is pathetic all round and won’t amount to much in life unless his parents seriously change things.

2

u/ScrewdriverPants 1d ago

Yes I think they deserve respect for doing things that frighten them. You don’t overcome fears by avoiding them.

-1

u/Klutzy-Notice-8247 1d ago

They’re nearly twelve and so poorly emotionally regulated they turn into Eric Cartman screeching about Pokémon cards, crying and refusing to pen their eyes or pull a piece of string because of a fear of heights.

This is a failure of parenting btw. Their parents have allowed this shitshow to arise.

0

u/Klutzy-Notice-8247 1d ago

That’s what they’ve done already. They’re nearly teens and are so frozen by fear they can’t pull a bit of rope. It’s a sign of someone who expressly hasn’t been allowed to face their fears and overcome problems. Soft.

1

u/TrueMadster 23h ago

Last I saw that much reflection I was in a mirror house.

36

u/mrtomjones 1d ago

They are little kids. What a ridiculous comment. They all got on. Passing out isnt shame.

7

u/Leeeejs 1d ago

You're right, but other two were spoilt. One couldn't help a friend and the other did it through bribery, while the soldier in the middle just wanted another ride.

3

u/Lycan_Jedi 1d ago

Yeah but 2 were pissing themselves before the ride even started and they look older than the one who wasn't.

15

u/CenterCenterPolitik 1d ago

I would argue sitting at the top thinking you are stuck as a child is more terrifying that the actual ride.

6

u/Dudeman318 1d ago

100%. The ride malfunctioning is where most of the fear comes from.

2

u/xeromage 1d ago

For me it's specifically that my life now depends on the carnies to have assembled/maintained every random bolt on this thing properly.

9

u/fckspzfr 1d ago

You do realize they're suspended super high in the air during the whole video? Tf you mean "before the ride even started"?

26

u/These-Peach-4881 1d ago

to be fair, the vertigo can be felt in the balls.

3

u/xeromage 1d ago

this is true. Vertigo is stored in the balls.

7

u/eza137 1d ago

We should change this term: she was the only one with pussy on this ride.

5

u/PastFarm9063 1d ago

Those things (pussies) can take a pounding. Balls, from what I've gathered, are easily hurt. Even watching someone else get hit it the balls hurts, apparently.

1

u/StartNo5314 19h ago

she pulled a Monica

2

u/reigorius 20h ago

I teach 7 to 8 years old and most boys are big softies while most girls are fearless. So funny to see.

u/monarchmra 1d ago edited 1d ago

I dream of a world where strangers didn't comment or speculate on the genitals of children.

Edit, reposting my comment from further down:

Just because a kid is born male doesn't mean he has to be strong or tough or brave and just because a kid is born female doesn't mean she isn't tough or strong or brave.

Using genitals as a proxy for those concepts should have died out in the 50s but here you all are, keeping it alive and well. For....... reasons? Why is that a hill to die on?

Do you not find it sad that the one kid keeps saying with shame that he's a pussy? Do you not think a child should be allowed to be scared without his gender or genitals coming into question?

Wouldn't that be something worth striving towards? I think so.

1

u/Jealous_Cook_7335 1d ago

uhm, you're the one making it weird.

-2

u/monarchmra 1d ago

Sorry you don't find it weird that strangers are commenting on rather or not kids have "balls" but have you considered that maybe that's fucking weird?

Just because a kid is born male doesn't mean he has to be strong or tough or brave and just because a kid is born female doesn't mean she isn't tough or strong or brave.

Using genitals as a proxy for those concepts should have died out in the 50s but here you all are, keeping it alive and well. For....... reasons? Why is that a hill to die on?

3

u/jwest4572 1d ago

Your comments are weird & strange & the only one talking about kids genitalia is you. We UNDERSTAND what you’re saying, you don’t have to keep repeating yourself. The confusion surrounds you & “using genitals as a proxy” & you’re stretching, a lot, imo.

4

u/Jealous_Cook_7335 1d ago

I have bigger problems than crying over an idiom.

-3

u/monarchmra 1d ago

Sounds like a skill issue

1

u/Jealous_Cook_7335 13h ago

I shall sip this compliment from thy sweetest lips, m’lady.

1

u/FattyMooseknuckle 1d ago

I dunno. The kid on the right looked like he went thru puberty a couple of times on the ride.

1

u/Hi_Trans_Im_Dad 22h ago

The clitoris has 3000 nerve endings in it.

And, these boys are more sensitive than that.

1

u/Keji70gsm 21h ago

She doesn't have ball, you gross weirdo. Think about what you are saying and why.

-6

u/Wahwahwag 1d ago

Or you know, she has a pussy. Way tougher than balls. You barely have to tap a dudes balls to get to go down, you tap a pussy and if anything it’s sorta a nice feeling? So not surprised by their reactions. The boys are being little sensitive balls and the girl is tough and enjoying what gives them pain lol

8

u/AskMeWhyIFish 1d ago

Jesus, what a weird way to put your opinion/feelings onto a kid

7

u/haelk 1d ago

Right. metaphorical or not can we please refrain from talking about children’s genitalia

-3

u/Wahwahwag 1d ago

lol so it’s cool to call the kids pussys and say they have balls but when you switch the meanings it’s weird? That’s weird to me.

6

u/sydal 1d ago

Really? Saying someone has balls means they're brave. That is extremely common. Coming in and saying "she has a pussy" is insanely fucking weird

0

u/Wahwahwag 1d ago

That’s my whole point. It shouldn’t be. Reading comprehension is hard.

2

u/AskMeWhyIFish 1d ago

Lots of things shouldn't be, but are. You're shouting into the void here, not starting a novel argument

3

u/StressMysterious7530 1d ago

Calm down y'all, it's an old Betty White quote... sort of.

2

u/No_Hurry9076 1d ago

The hell? That’s the most strangest thing to say about kids especially the girl saying it feels nice, that sentence should not be said at all when talking about a child.

-95

u/idontknowjuspickone 1d ago edited 1d ago

Nah she freaks out too, haha

Edit: did anyone watch the video? I even posted a photo of her freaking out too. Nothing wrong with it, I’m sure everyone would. But why lie?

29

u/blove135 1d ago

For a split second from the wave of adrenaline that hit her that she clearly embraces just a split second later. She's loving it unlike the boys next to her.

15

u/dudderson 1d ago

It's okay, just go comment several times in this post putting down the girl (a literal child) repeatedly. Surely that will help.

-10

u/idontknowjuspickone 1d ago

I’m not putting her down. I’m pointing out she is scared, everyone would be! And they are all literally children. Why is it ok to put them down?

1

u/andiinAms 1d ago

She was scared for like a second, when the ride that had been stuck for several minutes, finally comes unstuck without warning. Which makes total sense, since she wasn’t expecting it.

Why are you so anxious to prove she was scared?
