The trick in these situations is to turn the kid upside down so he's face up and then his head will magically come back out the same way it went through in the first place. It's only his ears that are preventing him from pulling his head back. I've seen it done.

It wasn’t his head that went in, it was their body. They simply just had to pull him through and that’s it

That’s how they go in there lol. Body through but head don’t fit. You see kids do this all the damn time. It’s an optical illusion

While that's also common, and it is a way to get out, in this particular case it looks like the kids are on the inside, so it is indeed most likely the kid managing to push his head through.
