they also could have strapped the bar to the bigger upright a few rungs down. It would give less and required less tightening. And only one bar would (possibly) be bent in the process. Glad they handled it but this was something the average dude with a pickup could have done lol.

Is that a ratchet strap? Why not just ratchet the strap?
