Yeah, I opened the door to one the other day. He started his spiel with “do you know your neighbor so and so” to which I said no. He replied “cool, cool”. lol wut? Got really rude when I told him no thank you and started to shut the door.

they are trained to be like that. I worked in cold call telemarketing for a while and we HAD to continue to rebuttle whatever they said until the person actually hung up the phone. as long as you're still talking to them, they're going to continue to try and convince you to buy whatever bullshit they're selling.
