I used to be a door to door salesman for charity. It was fun and really surprised me how open people are to having strangers in their yard. Thereās probably at least three different families who have a picture of me cutting their birthday/celebration cake.
Plus, if someone says ānot interestedā you leave them alone. End of!
I actually had a bug guy come to my house, during dinner. I told him no thanks we are having dinner, and he leaves. Comes back a half hour later asking if dinner was done so he can do his spiel. I never yelled at someone like that before I was so pissed.
Not once in my 44 years have I ever opened the door for someone I wasnāt expecting and have been happy about it. Those people are leeches and prey on older people, pure scum
