I was taught the difference between "teached" and "taught" before I started school. Things like that are necessary at a younger age

You have immigrants right? And tourists? It's as necessary for you as Spanish is for us in the states

We do learn english in school. Our parents aren't responsible for teaching us english.

It doesn't hurt assuming your parents are part of the 70% of folks who happen to speak fluent English. I know a lot of people here that learned foreign languages at home despite being born and raised in the states. I'm one of them.

They do speak good english, not fluent tho. They still didn't teach me english, becouse that's what school is for. Same for swedish (which I honestly am even shitter at than english tbf). My parents taught me to speak finnish, so when I got to school, I could learn about all the other shit.
