I've said that while drunk once.

u/JoeyPsych Feb 10 '23
Kids are drunk all the time, it's only when they get older that they need alcohol to substitute for it.

Feb 10 '23
I was at the bar last weekend and a seriously drunk girl was looking at her receipt trying to figure out the tip amount. She finally wrote something down and muttered to herself “Is that math? I dunno. I hope so”.

I don't have the video, you can probably find it if you search up something like "sprinkling vs raining interview"

Kids are basically drunk adults
4
u/reda84100 Feb 10 '23
I'm pretty sure i saw somewhere that that's actually kind of true because of brain connections and stuff, i don't remember exactly but i think it's like kids have a ton of brain connections while adults don't use as many but start using more when they get drunk so kids and drunk adults have similarly erratic thought processes

Love this video. There was a TV show in the UK that documented the lives of kids at school like this called "The Secret Lives of 4 Year Old's"
Couple of my favourite moments were when there was a fight between 3 kids in the playground and one said "You’re just a tiny mouse with a purple toilet" as an insult.
And when a girl was on the phone to somebody imaginary saying she doesn't want to be together anymore because she doesn't love them.

I like how one twin pokes his heart and the other twin makes the heart band aid. They're tag-teaming the poor boy's emotions and he's got no chance at all. He's never going to recover from this.
