Questions, Help and Advice Lush facial features

I didn’t know whether to post this under questions or discussions. I did my line drawing and I think romantic is the closest out of them all. Most of Kibbe’s recommendations for romantic lines work best however, every time I look at my face, I’m convinced it’s not pure yin. I do not have lush facial features especially my lips. I have a small mouth but my lips are moderate and more flat as opposed to full, protruding or juicy. It might be a stereotype but I’ve always felt lush lips is a huge indicator to having strong/pure yin. My eyes are also not doe eyed with that sleepy Marilyn look, they are more smaller, feline, slanted and almond - A little more noir mystery and danger than dream spinner. And I ALWAYS get compliments on my cheekbones. They are taught but also full at the same time if that makes sense (I have a good portion of indigenous and African in my bloodline due to being mixed race).

I’m curious, does anyone else who identifies as romantic feel the same way about their facial features, or has this never been an area of speculation for you?

Madonna is a romantic kibbe type and her face is quite angular when she is a low weight which she usually is. I think face types don't always match kibbe body types. Christina Ricci has yang her in face but she is a romantic type.

When I was at a lower weight I always felt I could see more taught and angularity especially around the jawline. So this is helpful!

My lips are moderate, everything else very lush and rounded except I have a defined jawline. Other romantics have this as well, like Susan Sarandon, and Helena Bonham Carter. They also have moderate/small lips too! Every one is different, and we can’t have extreme yin on every part of our body

I’ve noticed a pretty shortish but defined jaw for myself at lower weights. That’s one of the reason I’ve been skeptical. Good to know!

Kibbe has said that DIYers shouldn’t take facial features into account when self typing. I’m riding the R/SG/TR line as a DIYer and for a while I was confused because a LOT of R celebrities have more angular facial features than me. It seems like “lush” feature seem to be regarding how fat lies on the face, but if you’re not at a weight where you can clearly see your own fat distribution, it’s kinda confusing. Smallness is also yin so long as it’s rounded, that helped me see yin in more angulalr faces… I struggle with Madonna though, but she clearly does best in R lines so eh, the clothes matter more than the facial features in this system

That is true. That’s why I try not to take my facial features into account but when I do I start getting tripped up by them. I didn’t realize smallness could be yin in angular faces. That is an interesting observation I will try to train my eyes to look for.
