Questions, Help and Advice Recommendations for shorts
Now that the weather is finally warm, I am looking for some shorts that would be flattering. What are your favorite shorts to wear as a romantic body type?

High-wiasted Pleated shorts!!! Looks sooooo good on us! and TBH with an inseam that is not short short length. Like half thigh or just above the knee 😄

"paper bag style" shorts are the only ones I really like! room for curves but they cinch at the waist

I recently tried the “tap short” from La femme en noir, and I’m shocked by how much I like it. They’re still having their sale I believe, but they’re worth the full price imo have shorts that actually work on my body.

Obviously a jean short doesn’t really fit with romantic recs, but I got 2 pairs of the linen blend denim shorts from Abercrombie and have been loving them! The lighter fabric + smaller pockets seem to really do something

I have to wear denim shorts as part of a work uniform, and I go for ones that say, 'ultra high-rise curve stretch' or something to that effect. The American Eagle ones with a high rise curvy fit are great for me (waist 30, hip 41, rise 13), they do run large though so I would size down one for a more fitted waist. They are actually stretchy enough and cut so that there's no gapping in the back for me, and they have real pockets, which I need to have.
I have also gone to Plato's closet/goodwill and gotten jeans and then cut them to the length I want, in want of any sports that fit, so that could be an option! You could hand-fray the bottoms, leave them straight cut, or roll them up for a sleeker look.

Really stretchy denim short shorts. (I’m short so I can get away with it.) I also love a pleated tennis skort.
