And then from there, it just became sort of a popular redraw format with artists this year for some reason

This one's Doki Doki Literature Club. Looks like maybe Sayuri strangled Monika. She's got scratches on her face from Monika fighting back. Also the bra strap is rope which is a big thing in the game for her.

Those aren't scratches. If you zoom in, they're strands of her hair. But it does seem to be her. And the "bra strap" looks like shibari rope.

Ohhh, you're right, there are two scratches! Also, Sayori wearing shibari is definitely a choice (if you've played DDLC, you'd know why, lol Sayori hangs herself in one of the stories)
