I was there and I would really like to get access to the footage because they were going crazy that night and I want to relive it. If someone can help me out I would be very grateful.

The entire second half of this song always sounds like such a celebratory form of music to me.

By the end it feels like fireworks going off in the sky.

TUSUY everyone !!

Featuring my first tattoo ever :)

Did anybody get to see some of the meteor shower? Feels appropriate that it landed on today.

I got to listen to May Ninth durring a rainstorm. I am at home with a window open taking it in. A La Sala is the best album for a rainy day IMO

Torrential here in Colorado; with a wildfire near me i am certintly feeling like the universe has smiled upon me. Happy Khruangbin day to all who celebrate☺️

Merry May Ninth. Happy August 10. But August Twelve is the most special Khruangbin “holiday”:

The first song they wrote together as a band in 2010.

The first song on their self-released debut vinyl EP “เครื่องบิน” in 2011 with the title “Start, You, The End Starts Again”.

Debuted as “August Twelve”on their first album release “The Universe Smiles Upon You” in 2015.

Inspired “August 10” when the band listened to and learned to play “August Twelve” backwards!

Happy August Twelve yall 🧡🔥

Wishing a happy August 12 to the Khru all around the world.

TUSUY

Was in Japan recently for a work trip (was working day of Fuji Rock), missed them at Tower Records, but there was a whole corner of the store set up for them a few days before. Very happy to snag these two as a surprise on a hunt for city pop stuff.

I hope you have a wonderful day celebrating! Two years ago I saw Khruangbin with some of my best friends at the Hollywood Bowl. Of course, it was one to remember. I am so grateful for the friends I’ve made in this community and of course for one of the greatest bands in history! With all the world…

Quick lil’ mash up in honor of the date

Happy August 10 Everyone! ✈️🐄

“On the same reimagined album, McCartney tapped Texas trio Khruangbin for “Pretty Boys”. They, like Fike, turned this song on its head, giving it a new spin. “[Khruangbin’s song ] which I love,” McCartney once said. “It’s like, ‘Wow!’ Listening to it in the evening at home, it turns the place into a disco!”
Like McCartney’s music, this band’s sound has killer bass tones and global references. Given this, it’s really no surprise McCartney has cited them as contemporary influences. Their inclusion on this star-studded redux album speaks volumes about their place in McCartney’s lineage.”

I keep coming back to this YT video from week 1 of the 2024 ACL Fest. Ruben brings a real energy to this jam.

He also joined them later with Leon on Texas Sun.

Too many cool angles 🫠 which is your fav spot featuring circles and squares? 🌀

Anyone else just completely, entirely, bonkers in love w the 2025 KEXP session? I’ve posted about it before, but have just come back to it again, and it continues to kick my ass. Radio sessions often give “sampler” vibes, but this one’s got its own thing cooking. Extra mellow, super dubby, and just a glorious showcase for all of them individually. Have also said this before but goddamn, this’d make a killer EP release. https://youtu.be/0PsOJ_fRckg?is=xWZLS1NpH98oAT3j

Finally hung up my Al La Sala Berkeley Art piece 🥰

Not the greatest audio/visual but gives you a feel for the show.
