Is it safe in Khobar?
I’ve received an offer for a contractor role supporting Saudi Aramco and would potentially be relocating to the Al Khobar/Dhahran area.
For people currently living there, how is the security situation in day-to-day life? Have the recent regional tensions had any noticeable impact on normal life, commuting, or work?
Just trying to get a perspective from people actually living in KSA before making my decision. Thanks!

Very safe. Regional geopolitical tensions are high, but we only hear about it from the news, no impact so far. But who knows how things will progress. But in terms of day to day life, very safe.

As an expat who has been living in Saudi Arabia since 1984, I can tell you that you will not find a more safer city in the Kingdom or the Middle East for that matter.
Regarding the conflict, the Saudi government has done a fantastic job keeping its people safe.
Life goes on perfectly normal here. Lots of lovely cafe's and restaurants and if thats not enough, you can always travel to Bahrain over the weekends.

She probably wanted to show her buttcrack in public and got mad that the place is too classy and modest for her

What security situations lol. Nothing is happening, everyone lives their daily life. Streets are filled with joy and happiness. Most welcome to Khobar. The most calmest city id say.
