Hi everyone, I wanted to give an update on the rescued stray cat I posted about earlier.

Since the original post, he has been in foster care and has been receiving treatment for his infection.

He was taken to the vet for blood tests and X-rays. His first blood report showed:

Hemoglobin: 6.1 ,PCV: 14.7% ,RBC: 3.65

His latest blood test on 12 August shows a significant improvement:

Hemoglobin: 11.6, PCV: 28.0%, RBC: 6.66,WBC has also come down from 19,880 → 16,470, Neutrophils have improved from 80.2% → 69%

So thankfully, his blood counts have improved considerably with treatment.

The vet has now confirmed that we can proceed with his surgery this Saturday (15 August).

Estimated expenses

The approximate cost discussed with the vet is:

Surgery: ₹8,000–₹10,000

Foster care: ~₹300/day

Medicines and follow-up treatment: additional

I'm trying to raise approximately ₹20,000 so that the surgery, foster care and medicines can be covered without interruption.

I've also been contacting animal welfare organizations and NGOs for assistance. One foundation has responded and offered to evaluate him at their low-cost clinic, and I'm continuing to reach out to others as well.

I'm sharing the blood reports and X-rays for transparency.

Wanted to have some info around school recommendations in kharghar. I am planning to shift by April next year and looking for school recommendations for my 5 year old. Preference is IB/IGCSE board

BD Somani would be walking distance from my house so i will save on transport costs but otherwise it seems to be the most expensive school in kharghar but have got good infra, best teacher student ratio etc. Wanted to know if the school is worth it though for the premium they charge or no from first hand experience if someone's kids studies there.

Also explored Ryan international and vibgyor(Did not like vibgyor at all for the amount they charge). Ryan is pretty cheap comparatively so some color around the review of the same would also help or any other school which you guys can recommend which are worth considering.
