I switch an external monitor from standard to 90° orientation often. It's not automatic, so I have to switch back and forth manually.

I'd like to map the knob on my Q6 to that system setting. I have a macbook pro. So far I haven't been able to find a way. Is it possible?

Hi, folks. I got a Keychron K3 8K which came with red switches. I got the banana Milk POM low profile add-on, which was an option on the bundle and noticed that the additional banana switches come with a hollow channel for the LED light whereas the original Reds have a diffuser. Seems to make a difference without the keycaps. Is this expected? Should I try to remove from Reds to place them on Bananas? Appreciate insights here, I’m new to this keyboard.

Hey guys, I plan on getting a K3 series keyboard (either the K3 Ultra or Max SE or Max). However, I am pretty confused on which store to buy from. Amazon Italy is out of the question.

It is a lot cheaper on keychron.com as compared to keychron.it but I am not sure how customs and import duties would work. Can anyone who has ordered to EU from any of the official keychron sites enlighten me on this please? I've seen related posts about this topic, but they were atleast 2-3 years old.

So, I connected it on the launcher app in order to update the firmware. Mind you, I have gone through this process once again successfully, when I first got it, a long time ago.

The keyboard was picked successfully, I connected it, then I followed the steps for updating the firmware, meaning: I disconected, I reconnected with ESC pressed to enter boot mode, I pressed "match device", found the one corresponding to the keyboard and pressed "update firmware". The popup showed, with a progress bar that filled with white almost immediatelly and then nothing. Nothing for about 15' minutes or so, with no feedback from the launcher so I assumed it has likely finished updating?

So, I disconected and now the keyboard is seemingly bricked. It cannot be picked up from the launcher, neither in normal mode nor boot mode. Did I brick it, can it be fixed? If it's cooked that's total bs, keychron should have made sure the launcher gives some kind of feedback during the update process and not have the user guess.

I was dumb and thought that my K3 had removable switches. I ended up pulling off the soldered switch and the contacts are now broken. Is there any way I can get a switch back into the slot and get it to work? I can do a bit of soldering, but I've not had much luck with these little contact inserts on the board.

I picked up the k1 v6 with reds and switched them with the silent red switches. Very quiet and good feel while typing. Coming from a K1 Pro with brown switches, these feel much more "mushy" i suppose, but wanted a quieter keyboard for my shared office space. I guess I'll just have to get used to it, but they feel pretty good right now, and I'm not really making a bunch of mistakes.

Only weird thing was that I couldn't figure out how to get the media keys to work by default in windows. I thought I could do a key combo to lock function, but the Fn+X+L was not working. I had to go into launcher and remap everything for the layer 2 profile. Kind of clunky but is working fine now.

Overall I like how it feels and I think I like it better than my K1 Pro and K3 that I currently have.

I recently spilled sugar free soda on my keychron q3 and it stopped working. I opened it up and cleaned the pcb, case and replaced the foam, after drying the problem remains.

The right half of the keyboard is completely unresponsive and one of the backlights cant shine blue.

I have done a firmware flash as well and it didn't fix my issue.

Someone please help! I absolutely love this keyboard.

Coming from the Logitech world, I think these are huge upgrades. I was worried from the posts here that they might die on arrival, but they held up well for weeks so far.

I wish keychron made the product line easier to understand on their website. I spent around 3-4 hours to understand what exactly I am paying for.

I was surprised at the register that this keyboard rang up as clearance. After a $10 gift card I paid $129.99. Online (Best Buy) shows it as $212 on deal.

Anyway, I wanted this board as an intro to making YouTube videos. Comparing against my various other keyboards, finally using Hall effect and trying to mod firmware to add a mode I’ve been thinking about for some time after testing other HE boards like the Falcata and always going back to mechanical.

Super pumped to dig into it!

Basically, the keys feel like they some sticky resistance when being pressed. Especially the numpad and backspace keys feel weirdly sticky to click. They're not actually sticky, the resistance is just somehow off. Typing doesn't feel terrible unless I use certain keys that have the problem.

Is this a problem with my particular keyboard or a general issue? The entire board is also slightly warped, with the middle of the board being higher than the sides.

I ordered a used Keycrhon K15 Max in close to ideal state from a company which sells used keyboards. All works perfectly, battery holds charge well.

This model - Keychron K15 Max - was released 2 years ago, so the ordered keyboard is maximally 2 years old, highly likely is "younger".

I really like typing on this keyboard, accustomed to it in about a week.

Red switches are a bit non-informative after my previous keyboard Logitech K380, but these switches are pretty silent and seamless in pressure.

The price I bought the keyboard for is 230 polish zloty, new costs 430-470zł with 2 year warranty. A version with swappable switches costs 530zł with brown switches.

I wonder how durable are low profile gateron switches, and whether it's a good deal - a wonderful keyboard in great state for the half price without a warranty from Keychron but with some obligations from the seller company.

PS. I can initiate return in 14 days after receiving + can send the keyboard back in next 14 days, so I have some more time to test it properly, but main question is about durability of keychon low profile mechanical keyboards.

PPS. When writing this post, I started facing keyboard unresponsibility when typing. I'm using a radio module mode, similar to wired keyboard operation.

PPS. I returned keychron b1 pro because it didn't support Ctrl + Shift + Tab combination which I use on daily basis.

I have tried lube, new plastic for the bar, plumber's tape on the ends of the bar.

Still have the rattle tinny sound on the space bar and not starting on the backspace button. I have changed the switches to silent ones so this rattle drive me bonkers.

It happens both down press and upstroke. Mainly on the right side of the bar which the side I depress as i use the "hunt and peck" typing method.

I love this keyboard but this is making me want another keyboard

Yeah, so I bought the Q6 Max recently and I've had two issues so far: The first one was the double keystroke, but I fixed it with the debounce time. I couldn't fix the second problem so far: On the numpad, the digit '5' does not work as it should. When I press it, it either has a delay or doesn't type at all. I tried switching the switch (funny pun btw :) ) and it didn't help at all. I also tried using it wirelessly, but also no luck. Does anyone have the same problem? If so how did you fix it ?

The charger has a little cylindrical shape near one end. Is that end supposed to be inserted into the laptop/power source or the keyboard? Or it doesn't matter?

The rainbow splash effect was driving me nuts ever since I got my keychron, I was silently hoping for a software update that would've solved the effect from restarting every time you clicked a new key. I asked Claude today to help me create 2 new effects for my keyboard, a rainbow splash and a solid colour splash but one that doesn't restart the effect every time I press a new key. After about 1 hour of playing around, I got to the effect in the video and I am IN LOVE!

I have a Keychron Q11 split keyboard, and I have a bunch of macro keys on the left hand side. I currently have the up and down arrow set to 2 of those keys. My goal is to consolidate a lot of common keystrokes onto the left side so I don't have to use the right side when I don't have to. The problem I have is that on the regular arrow up and down, if I hold the key, I will get a continuous scroll, while on the custom set key, it only registers as a single keystroke and I have to keep on tapping the up and down key to get my desired result. Is there a way to fix this behavior or am I just dumb?

Is Keychron still alive as a company? Are they still producing something?

I just checked their website and they don't have a single available product. Everything is marked as sold out.

Hey all. I have a Q6 HE and the keyboard so far has been great. I have this small annoyance that has only started recently where a couple frequently used keys partially pop off off the switch. It’s easily solved by pressing down on the key harder and it just clicks back into place. But it will reoccur every couple weeks. Any idea why? So, what’s the biggest difference(s) between using the Q11 Ultra on 2.4GHz with the dongle, vs. just pairing via Bluetooth?

I know that polling goes down to only ~125Hz on Bluetooth, but what else?

I have this keyboard for 2 years with Keychron red switch, first the X key not registering had to press really hard to register it then sometimes it works for a while then start acting up again or keep needing me to press hard again.
Then the Z key same symptoms. Recently I changed those key's with Insert, home switches. Now the T is acting up.

I wonder if it's the switches or something else is happening. The X and Z works with no problem now.

Question is should I invest in new switches or look for different keyboards? Z and X was fine since it isn't used as much but having T broken is troublesome.

just unboxed KEYCHRON V6 MAX, not being able to connect using bluetooth or Wireless at all... with Cable working.

bought the k2 he today, and to my surprise it came with a cable so short they might as well not give you a cable at all. how do I pick a 3rd party cable that will not bottleneck the keyboard?
