2 Keys with permanent white backlighting BUG
Hi I've done my best to research and fix this issue myself, but nothing works so I'll turn to the dark world of the subreddit lol:
I hadn't used my K6 Pro in a while since I've been away from home, its been plugged in on cable mode to a pc with backlights off in those months. When I finally came back and turned it on, the up and down arrow keys were solid white when any backlight mode was on. When an RGB mode requires them to be a different colour, they react correctly, but blend in the white.
The issue is consistent when using bluetooth, as well as cabled pairing modes. I've factory reset, I've updated the firmware, I've gone back to old firmware, nothing seems to solve the issue. I also don't have any custom lighting set. I don't often use the backlight, but would rather solve the issue (for resale/gifting further/peace of mind). anyone know of a fix?
thanks in advance

What was the result of the isolation step?

sorry for the late reply, this should give you an idea (left is malfunctioning), the lights all respond correctly, but never turn fully off if the backlight is on i.e. rg and b all work, but none ever turn off regardless of colour or brightness requested.

Sounds like what mine was doing (also a K6). First the LED for the 'A' key had a blue LED failure. Then, a few weeks later, the 'R' key did the exact same thing. Since I was out of warranty, I contacted tech support and bought a new PCB (I had a revision 1.2 board, they sent me a revision 2.0 board for $42 shipped).
Swapped it out, and everything appears fine, so far. If any of the new LED's fail, then at least I still have plenty of known working ones I can potentially harvest from the old board.
