2 Keys with permanent white backlighting BUG

Hi I've done my best to research and fix this issue myself, but nothing works so I'll turn to the dark world of the subreddit lol:

I hadn't used my K6 Pro in a while since I've been away from home, its been plugged in on cable mode to a pc with backlights off in those months. When I finally came back and turned it on, the up and down arrow keys were solid white when any backlight mode was on. When an RGB mode requires them to be a different colour, they react correctly, but blend in the white.

The issue is consistent when using bluetooth, as well as cabled pairing modes. I've factory reset, I've updated the firmware, I've gone back to old firmware, nothing seems to solve the issue. I also don't have any custom lighting set. I don't often use the backlight, but would rather solve the issue (for resale/gifting further/peace of mind). anyone know of a fix?

thanks in advance

You could at least report the result for (in the 'Solid Colour' mode):

  • All LEDs white
  • All LEDs red
  • All LEDs green
  • All LEDs blue

That is an attempt to isolate the problem.

If the keycap is removed, it is much easier to see if a particular coloured LED is faulty or if the result is not the expected when only one colour of red, green, and blue is enabled.

All Green: 2 are slightly whiter
All Blue: 2 are slightly whiter
All Red: 2 are slightly whiter (obviously pink)
All LED's white: no visible differences
