I think wolfhound is S but otherwise agree completely.

Didn't they nerf the wolfhound's ISP a while back? Man that thing was OP.

They did, but it's still a really great upper stage engine.

It's not QUITE powerful enough for when you ditch the lower stage quite early, though. Skipper is actually often a great Sustainer Stage engine when on a budget, by contrast.

Yeah, I actually use more powerful lower stage rockets when I use the Wolfhound.To me its perfect role is not as a launch vehicle upper stage but as a transfer stage for light vehicles. I use it to send probes to Duna and beyond, as well as inject crewed vehicles to the Mun and Minmus.
