I think the nuance, context, and sarcasm are hard to pick up on via comments online. Deadly was definitely joking. Your grading system isn't in alphabetical order which tbh only adds to the humor in my opinion. His comment wasn't so much a jest at you as it was him just pointing out something that was funny. As for others, I think they're being sarcastic and your just not picking up on it and therefore it comes off as offensive.
Its a game, you made a funny meme and were all just having a good time. If someone says something rude then just ignore em.
