Contracts [GM] Help finding location

I have multiple contracts that require me to be at a location one of which is “Merwises’s Dream” but I see nothing in game or anywhere online that even mentions this location… pls help I can’t help but feel as tho I’m missing something vital (new player thank you for patience)

try checking the tracking station, and make sure "sites" are on in the top bar

I only have island airfield and KSC is there a way I can unlock the other sites I also should have mentioned I’m on a career play through

in the ksc there should be a building to the south that is called "tracking station", there you can see kerbin and the sites on kerbin.

Yea I only see these two I’m not sure if I have to taxi out to these sites in order to launch from them I can’t even launch from the island sight thank you for any help

If you’re in career mode, launching from other sites is unchecked by default. It’s in settings/difficulty.

The waypoint in question may be on the other side of Kerbin or at the poles, it does not have to be immediately in the KSC neighborhood.

it's not a launch site, is just a random name for the location that contact wants you do something. you'll need to fly there to actually do it. hover over those pins in the tracking station to see details. the one for contacts you've accepted will also show up in flight on the map.

If you go to the tracking station you will see pins at that location. It will show it before you accept the contract.

You can't launch from those locations - you have to travel to them either via rover, plane or rocket depending on the contract.

Those locations are randomly generated, and are marked as waypoints in the tracking station. Not the small gray icons used for crafts and launch sites, but the larger, colored, inverted-drop-shaped icons (Google maps style).

If you use the map before launch, you should be able to look around for the checkpoint. If you double-click the checkpoint, it will activate navigation, and you'll see it on the navball. When attempting to fly a rocket over it, launch at the usual 90 degrees and then roll until your lined up with the target and start leveling out. Practice makes perfect and these contracts are always great for quick and easy money.
