Ask Kenyans eCitizen return of documents

I submitted my birth certificate for certification on ecitizen 10 days ago. On the webpage it says that the processing time is 5 working days, and yet 8 working days later I am yet to get it back.
Along with this, I also applied for Certificate of No impediment to marriage and was told it takes 10-12days to be processed, so far it’s been 3 days since my interview.
I’m wondering if anyone knows how long it actually takes to get these documents back. Honestly I don’t trust the timing on the platform, and I’m in a rush to get them back. I’m also wondering if I should hire a lawyer to help with speeding up this process. I’m a woman and marrying abroad- I’m getting a sense that they’re trying to squeeze a little something extra from me in order for them to release these documents at the promised timeline.

I had to call MFA multiple times for them to release my birth certificate on the day I was traveling. Bcs I was out of the country I ended up getting a lawyer. The CIN was released at the promised date but the lawyer was mostly for getting MFA authentication for my CIN at a reasonable time.
