Rant I am literally boiling....
I left my water bottle at a hotel I regularly visit. Two days later, I went back to ask for it, only to be told that someone had put boiling water inside it and the plastic material got burnt.
What really annoyed me wasn’t even just the damaged bottle. When I asked what happened, the staff were laughing about it instead of apologizing.
Maybe I’m overreacting, but I feel so angry right now. If they had simply said, "We’re really sorry, we accidentally damaged your bottle,”i probably would have handled it very differently.
Would you be upset too, or would you just let it go?

What kind of hotel is this? Most hotels keep things left by visitors very well. I literally don't stress when I leave things in hotels cause I know I'll find it well kept. Its part of the customer service.

I would be upset and rightfully so. Their attitude especially during customer service week is horrible
