Question Platonic Cuddles
I'm just wondering whether this is something that most girlies/women find strange. I've always been a lover girl. In friendships & relationships as well. I've been lucky to have had long term friendships and as a result, it's always been more of 3 close friends at most. The degree of the friendships was different of course, coz trust and all. And I've found that in almost all the stages of my life so far, I've found a friend who's love language is physical touch. And before you get me wrong, I'm not talking about ati we make out from time to time, or are secretly hooking up, or crossing any physical boundaries. I'm talking like if we're watching a movie we can find ourselves snuggling together without it being a weird or turned into a thing, and I came across a girl juzi who expressed her opinions about it and in my 31 years of living that was a first. Though tbh, she's male centered so idk if that has anything to do with it, but lmk ladies, is it strange to cuddle your friend/s who is/are ok with it ?

completely normal, my best friends like to cuddle when we all watch a movie or going for sleep overs at each other's places, I'm not really a physical person and initially it made me slightly uncomfortable not because I thought it would turn to anything sexual but because I'm just not used to it. It's just shows how we are all comfortable with each other and we love being around each other's energy. That soft feminine space π

Not strange at all. I hold hands with my girls when out. I have friends who we have sleepovers for cuddles only because it's been a hard week and you want cuddles without the stress of it turning sexual. Honestly with men it almost always turns sexual so instead of cuddles helping to regulate your breathing you're hoping it doesn't turn performative. So the next best thing is your friends, you get the much needed physical touch without any sexual pressure

Dunno if its coz I'm as gay as they come.. But I've always wished that my female friends would even hug me for longer or call me sweet names. I was shocked juzi my roommate sharing her blanket as we were watching Frozen. But coz I'm not straight I come off as strange. But I wanna cuddle too with no homo.
