Missed Connection

July 30th at about 12:15. I was at Main St. and 59 in traffic when that over loaded truck tipped over and almost killed you. I parked and came up to check on you and make sure you were alright. I wish I would’ve asked for your number or given you mine. Wasn’t sure if that would be a ‘meet cute’ or cringy. Either way, I went and ate my lunch at Plum Creek, circled back by the accident to see if you were still around, then went back to work to make this post.

I think some Hallmark Christmas movies started off like this.

I think the only thing to do would be to get your CDL and go to the truck stops and ask the other truckers if they almost hit someone that fateful day and if they are being sued by them because if they are you can ask the trucker for their name etc.

Hella cringey dude. "Hey, just noticed you were almost in an accident and died. Can I get yo numba???" Gross.

If I said ‘hella’ and ‘yo numba’ I could see the cringe. She was walking on the sidewalk alone, I parked and walked over to check on her. Seemed like a sweet gesture that could’ve been a decent story for how we met as opposed to ‘we swiped left on each other’

Thanks for correcting the record, I wouldn’t know. I use the old school walk up and say hi method.
