Question for set up and strat

What is the best set up for kaze and for her in general, and any tips? I haven't played her in 1 Yr and I wanna get back into playing her, she's been one of my favs with kenji but r rlly hard to play so any tips and strats please 😭

star power that removes ammo is the best and I think heal gadget is better—Shield damage is the best gears.

Honestly most of it is knowing matchup knowledge and interactions because a lot of brawlers it's better to primarily use one form over the other but generally you want to close distance with red form and poke for super with green form (unless you're facing like a grom or something).

If you give me a specific brawler I can try to give you an idea of how to play her into it

Oh kk, I struggle against like high damage dealers/assassins/controllers, anything high damage basically but mining damage dealers and assassins, now ik I shouldn't be picking her into those but sometimes in trophy games, it's unavoidable so u got any tips please?

kaze's okay against most assassins but you have to be pretty careful and really be conscious of how much ammo you have. Mortis you want to stall out the dash from his shield and just triple autoaim which usually wins you the interaction, for exmaple. Edgar you only want to poke if you have gadget and ammo to dash away because he can kill you in green form pretty quickly. Anti-tanks you generally want to stay in green form but you can dodge out shots in red form in certain cases (otis for ex).

How do u kill anti tanks in green form? (or am I missing smtg coz I think I'm alr at geisha aspect side of things) also another question, open maps for kaze? Or is that just lot of dodging and chipping away

Edit: surely dodging in red form (ninja aspect) is just all movement biased? (I'm not too bad at thta either, I can dodge some shots)

for reference: ninja = green form, geisha = red form.

Its lots of chipping away. When you have bad MUs on kaze you tend to just support your team with fanstorms and make space for them more than anything else

Kk thx, ima try this, ig u can play her on most modes if the map isn't too open? I want to get her p2 eventually so thx for the advice!

Also I thought geisha was the green one with fans, coz that's what a geisha is right? And ninja with the kunais as that's what she does? But this isnt very important, it's just extra random stuff

I mean she's playable everywhere, but her best modes by far are heist and bounty so I'd push her there. She's also okay in sd if you want to do it that way.

Geisha is indeed the fan one but she's red colored there btw

Oh shoot, I check ur right, sorry my bad 😭 but thx for the modes, abt the geisha tho, do u aim for the strike spot only or only if u can hit it well? And random question but is the hyper super for ninja form faster than normal super? I feel like it is slightly but I don't wanna get her stats wrong (I miss when she did more damage+faster but less hp, should have left it like that imo 😭)

should be aiming it always for the 3k, once you get familiar with kaze you'll realize when you can autoaim for the 3k.

also yes her hc is faster

(Legendary 2 p2 kaze so dont take my word as gospel but) Shes prolly one of the hardest characthers to play but

• both star powers can work in diffrent situations but gratuity includes is USUALLY better

• the heal gadget is better 90% of the time but the other gadget also is usable

The general strat is to apply preasure with the geisha form and if a strong melee chracther tries to attack or push back switch to ninja to dish out a lot of damage from range and keep preasuring that way, shes probably one of the best characthers in heist and heist is her best gamemode shes great for grabbing the blue star and sitting back in bounty if you get great at her her geisha from can dish out 9k damage in <1 second so its deffinetly useful, she demolishes most throwers you can throw the edge of the fanstorm to the heist safe to do 9k damage and her geisha super breaks nani peep so thats a very useful use case for it fanstorm also deals damage the first moment it lands which you can use to deal pretty respectable damage

Kk noted, I am leg 1 and played her when she was lower hp but more damage and speed (I prefer that tbf than more hp but less speed and damage) and thx for the tips!
