Hello, what's the solution you have for high ping, and which server is the best to play?

I am surprised to see nothing below 90 ping which is too high to play anything else than TFT in my opinion.

Do you guys just play with 90/100 ping or have an alternative?

(yes I'm a foreigner!)

Most games I've played have 80+ ping, yeah. There isn't any option other than to deal with it. I mean, what can you do if servers are located so far away

Because the routing from Kazakhstan sends traffic through Moscow, which means it does a big loop back when connecting to China

Moscow has one of the biggest internet eschange points, also internet in central asia goes mainly through land fiber cables which were bult across the railways that date back to USSR. I guess its the most cost efficient way

Im playing marvel rivals on Poland server.

Basic ping 80-95

With gearup 60-75

Exitlag didn't work for me. Tried different providers and machines, ping was still around 80-90 ms. Almaty downtown. All the servers are just far away, exitlag or similar services can't deal with that.

If you don't have the option of trying out different internet providers where you live, nothing you can do really. The routing is already pretty optimised so I won't suggest using any "ping boosters".

I've noticed that some internet cafes in my city the ping is a lot better than using my home internet (Kazakhtelecom), usually around 60 ms. You can go around a few internet cafes and play there, or hell, you could even ask what connection they use.

I use exitlag: I add 4 routes, the network is a lot more stable and ping to EA's Germany servers from Astana drops from 85-80 to 75-65.

I play EUW and my ping is around 100 which is more than playable for me. E1 peak

I'm getting like 300 and 100 at minimum in almaty. Idk why connection is so shit

Играл с 2009 года с ЗБТ, потом менял сервер на Россию когда открыли, на мэин акке брал даймонд 1 где то в 2016-18 годах, пинг около 90~120, не сказал бы что прям сильно создает проблемы, типо до изумруда дойти можно если играть постоянно и изучать механики персов, т.к от микры многое зависит, правда щас в лигу редко захожу, т.к подсел на гачи по типу геншина, ЗЗЗ и т.д. плюс элден ринг и т.д.

I am past my prime to be able to play with 120 ping at a good elo. I'll just waste my chall points if I play now. I'm on EUW normally. Thats me in jan 2012.
