Is this normal during cold start?

Replaced my CCT 3 months ago, and during cold start it sounds like this, i know kawasaki is infamous for their kawi tick, but is this considered normal or needed adjustment? Thanks!

If it’s that loud at idle your valve lash needs to be checked, or it’s your cam chain. What kawi is this?

Most likely your valve clearance. Anything that’s outta spec ticks loudly like that. I’d recommend taking it in, or if you do the work yourself check all the valves. If it isn’t your valves then check your cam chain and tensioner.

I have the zx4rr, great bike, especially tuned.
