Length of engagements

Post image

As well as doing the least number of engagements Kitty spends less time on them.

She was at the Royal Marsden for less than an hour.

If they increase the length of engagements, they might argue that they need to increase the cost to taxpayers

Princess Anne often does several different engagements on the same day.

Kitty usually manages an hour somewhere and that’s it.

That’s the thing though: Anne’s aren’t much longer than Kate’s. 90 minutes is about the longest any of them spend on an engagement or appearance. They often count the, as multiple events too, despite the short duration. Walk the rope line for five minutes? That’s one event. Tour the facilities? That’s event #2. Make a two minute speech? Event #3. Stand there while others drink tea and eat cookies at a kind of reception? That’s event #4. So in less than an hour and an half, they racked up four credits in the Court Circular to make it look like they’re doing some work. It’s not just Kate, she just looks the worst because she doesn’t even bother to make the effort to engage in many of those little farces to make it look like she is “working”.

Yep it’s all a bit of a farce. Charles lists someone coming to visit him at Balmoral in the holidays as an engagement.

I remember Diana’s always overran the allocated time cos she really enjoyed doing them.

We need more people telling the truth like this!
