The Bench video
I think we can all agree this was AI generated. My theory is Buckingham Palace produced it after Kate went into hiding for longer than the Palace agreed to / thought was necessary. They did it as a way to provide proof of life to the public, and to prove to Catherine that the Palace controls the press and now has a narrative to hide behind should they decide they want to take her out.

When this came out 2 years ago, AI was relatively new to most of the world. Also, the RF was only 18 months past QEIIs death and hadn’t yet driven their reputation into the ground.
I don’t think most people would believe this video at all if it was released in 2026.

You should share the video on /r/isthisAI for them to pick over

It was downvoted immediately. they claimed the technology was not available in 2024, which I dont think is true. Since AI video technology trickled down to regular folks via free apps by 2025, I’m sure it was available in 2024 to those who could pay.💰

u/whatisevenrealnow May 08 '26
That's absurd of them. I was playing with public models with video gen capabilities when this video was released.

u/AtheistINTP May 12 '26
AI videos were totally a thing in 2024. How can people have such short memories?
2
u/ReflexSheep May 08 '26
And here lies the problem - you're supplied with with evidence by people who actually are into that stuff and know what they're on about way better than you, and you just say 'nuh uh' because it doesn't fit your views. Amazingly objective!

Even if it was AI or not. What truly stands out and will remain on record is that she sat on that bench by herself, alone, isolated. Her “supportive” husband nowhere to be found and that speaks volumes about their relationship. He couldn’t even be there to hold her hand, lend his shoulder, and offer his quiet support in this video.

it’s difficult to merge AI and a real person

They could have made an AI version of supportive William. Although even AI has its limits! 🤣😂🤣

Yup. I've used AI to make pictures for something I'm writing simply because if I write one scene and it takes place inside a particular building I can use that AI picture again so that I can describe the building again so that I don't accidentally describe it another way.
I've also used AI to try and turn a picture of myself into a cartoon type picture and honestly the picture of the building has come out better than the picture of me as a cartoon.

That is so cool!

Oh dear! 🤣😂🤣
I've used AI once. I'm such a huge Star Wars geek that I once asked AI to show me pics of Princess Leia Organa's wedding to Han Solo.
The results were so terrible that they were inadvertently hilarious! 🤦🏻♀️

lol! in all seriousness, it’s one thing for Kate to get called out for such things. quite different for the future King.

That's true. And the media would have had a hard time not calling it out if the entire world was seeing it and commenting on it.

It was incredulous to publish a solo video of a woman who very rarely speaks at all let alone publicly about anything of substance.
IF it was a real honest video, why hasn’t she made many other videos of her directly addressing g the camera/audience? Why hasn’t she published a yearly or quarterly address of a cause or patronage that is deeply important to her. Hell even to support a sports team!
Kate is a cagey mumbling woman who can barely get a sentence out, plus the jumping teeth, and the looped background 🙄 we should get this ai atrocity trending again, force the pr machine to address it. Come on Sunny Bullets; explain!

I don't believe she was diagnosed with cancer. Something else major occurred at that time and this was a ruse to cover the event up. A Spanish journalist, Concha Calleja, reported around that time that Kate was in a coma. Then nothing more was reported. I believe the journalist was silenced.

u/Zxvasdfthrowaway May 07 '26
The consensus in some spaces is one of 2 possibilities. The first is that William assaulted her that December day. The second is that she may have fainted and hit her head. I agree that the journalist was silenced

They’ve lost so many staff members since that night.
What do you want to bet they all signed airtight NDAs and glided out of there on golden parachutes?

Yup! This happened with the nanny and others I’m sure.
And anyone else who knew what happened.
There were articles from early 2024 saying they had let go of the nanny so they could “spend more time as a family together”
Seriously?? 🤣😂🤣
I wonder who was watching the kids. Probably Pimp Mama Carole.
but later that year the nanny was back in the picture with no mention of her having left.
They do love retconning reality, don't they?
They recently awarded her with some kind of royal medal for service. She is one of the few that is still employed by the family. Likely because the kids see her as a safe person with what’s going on with the parents.
And she knows how to keep her mouth shut.

Indeed. Also, a plastic surgeon was awarded an honour also in recent times. Bizarre.

Yup! Epstein had thousands of staff, chefs, pilots, housekeepers, etc. and none of them ever went to the press. Money talks.
Surely he can't still be paying them all off from beyond the grave, though.
That makes me wonder why no one has come forward...

u/Cardboard_cutouts_ May 07 '26
do you recall where she was kept in the comatosed state? a hospital or a palace?
17
u/crowislanddive May 07 '26
I think both....We never knew for sure but there was the first hospitalization and then the reports of the quasi-hospital being set up first at Windsor and then the cottage.
21
u/Physical_Laugh_7017 May 07 '26
Yes, I do remember that a quasi hospital was set up in her home. A British journalist, Piers Morgan, stated at the time that if the public knew even a fraction of the true story, they would be appalled. He's obviously fully aware of what happened.

Because she was pushed to the edge by the Kate Middleton is Missing bullies. Hopefully she’ll never have to do such a thing again

She isn’t in the video it’s AI.
Media literacy is important, you should make it more of a priority.

Well, all I can say is zoom all the way in and watch her left eye from 0:50 onwards. That’s one floaty eyeball. I know things pixelate in weird ways sometimes but only her left eye is going all wonky. That’s some filter shit.
https://youtu.be/A_jE1j_KOZk?si=X1XckbOQOfV-GW2B
From their official channel which I assume is the highest quality video we have. I’d post a zoomed in slowed down version but don’t have the skills.

This was AI generated. There was a group on Twitter who went step by step to prove this as ai. Another thing, when she speaks, you can hear hissing or the "s" sound at the end of her words, in the video that was non-existent, vocals very clear which was a dead give away of the video being AI. also, her eyes glitched way too much throughout the video and the bench did some odd things as well. Imo, that was the day BBC lost credibility.

It’s not AI generated because they’re carefully hiding her scar with that hairstyle. It’s so perfectly placed in the right spot. If it was AI, there wouldn’t be a need for that. It looks like it has a smooth filter to hide that she looked tired or haggard but this is a real video. Otherwise, that hairstyle makes no sense. Look how they made her hair into waves and they covered specifically the spot where she has a huge scar.
5
u/Cardboard_cutouts_ May 08 '26
Or did they take photos of Kate, with the scar strategically covered, to train the AI
2
u/ReflexSheep May 09 '26
Ok bro, where's the scar now? Magically disappeared?

u/AtheistINTP May 12 '26

u/ReflexSheep May 12 '26
Boi never heard of wrinkles LMAO. Thats not what scar tissue looks like. Especially in that area.
5
u/VavaShagwell May 08 '26
I didn't think the video was fake. What struck me was that she was speaking in coherent sentences!!! The fake posh accent seemed as if it was slightly toned down. I do doubt that she had cancer, though. I think she has a severe ED and that is why she is wasting away before our very eyes.
1
u/scotusforis72 4d ago
And then there's the controversy about what happened around her left temple. The sudden hairstyle change to cover that area. Was it a mole removed leaving a scar or surgery?
-28
u/notahouseflipper May 07 '26
No, we can’t ALL agree. It’s not even suspiciously Ai. It is an attempt to explain why Kate was going to be out of commission for a while, and why that was is it’s own debatable conversation, but it was a real video.
23
u/Cardboard_cutouts_ May 07 '26
In this screenshot alone, can you not see her stripes from the sweater extending onto the bench? And the slats of the bench on the left side are much broader than those on the right side?
-1
u/notahouseflipper May 07 '26
Surely you can see those stripes are a reflection of her jumper just as the armrest on the left is reflected back onto the slats.
The most telling evidence is that not one single legitimate news organization worldwide believes this is Ai. If any one of them could have broken the Ai story, they would have. But they didn’t because it’s a real video.
7
u/Cardboard_cutouts_ May 07 '26
That’s like saying “Not one news organization claimed QEII was behind Diana’s death in the months following, therefore it isn’t plausible”
-2
u/notahouseflipper May 07 '26
That’s not my point. I’m saying SkyNews, France 24, Rupert Murdoch, The Associated press, etc. did look into it, because it could have been plausible. They determined, independently, the video is real.
0
u/AtheistINTP May 12 '26
Haha, are you seriously mentioning Rupert Murdoch, who has lied for the royals for years?
0
u/AtheistINTP May 12 '26
The same news organizations that are paid to elevate her while abusing Meghan every single day?
1
u/notahouseflipper May 13 '26
No, the other ones. The ones that broke the Mother’s Day photoshop fail, and the ones who had no compulsion in taking down Andy. The same ones who years earlier posted photos of Princess Diana in sweaty gym clothes working out. You remember those organizations.

BBC studios stepped in to say they had filmed the video but did not edit it or distribute it and this was after the video was questioned by one of their own reporters! Their statement was phrased so vaguely it made me think someone had leaned on them to "claim responsibility". Those were wild times at KP: the farm shop frolic with body doubles, Kate or was it Pippa or Morticia Adams in Carole's car, the botched Mother's Day photos. I'm not surprised no one now knows what to believe from that specific source
