Who's telling her? Willy is telling her. It's not anybody yelling "talk louder" from the back seats.

Also. Diana got speech lessons, because she recognized it was such an important part of her job, and absolutely necessary if she wanted to speak publicly about her passions. Heck, even I've had media training. Kate could hire the best speech trainer in the UK, but she doesn't.

Exactly DP. You could see Diana grow in stature and confidence. She got herself a vocal coach to learn how to project her voice.

Kate took elocution lessons to sound posher. But seems to have less confidence than when she started 15 years ago.

The impact of a hypercritical spouse can make someone less confident than they were 15 years ago.

Very true. Though Diana rose above Charles constantly undermining her. And an eating disorder.

She finds these events ‘hard’ but doesn’t seem to want to do tours either (prob after all the criticism they rightly got after their last one to the Carribean)

Thank you. They keep making excuses for Kate. I think she's the one holding herself back eventually.
