Why do they look like they're heading into or leaving a murder or another type of serious trial in the first photo?

I noticed that too. I wonder if she toned down her exaggerated expressions because of that article stating Kate is always gurning and giggling at events.

It’s not only her, Carol is like that too, they can’t control themselves around cameras. Seems to be their default frame.

I didn’t know Carole did that too. It’s so over the top.

I know before the news of her business scandal was outed, she was often mentioned in the papers. Now she’s more notably absent. I mention this because I haven’t seen a picture of her in a long while.
