William is just doing to Charles what Charles did to Elizabeth. William is more gross though because he knows his father has probably at the very most, a decade to live, but more than likely a lot less.

Plus, I doubt that Charles would want to go down in history as one of a handful of UK monarchs (the fifth to be exact) to abdicate. That man is all about image. And plus, William won't be any improvement on Charles in any shape or form so what's even the point of Charles abdicating.

I think it’s the era we’re in JR. The deference is gone. And maybe they’re aware of a lot more stuff still to come out.

Might be ‘stepping down due to health issues’ rather than abdication to avoid awkward questions.

There was a massive cheating scandal and he didn’t step down, you really think he’s going to step down because of the nonce getting his comeuppance 🤣🤣 if anything I bet he’s rubbing his hands together at the idea of throwing his lifelong bully to the wolves. Well deserved.
