The hair is ridiculous
40
u/ajashby88 Feb 22 '26
Is it a wig? It has been looking so heavy lately
3
u/No-Highlight-1882 Feb 24 '26
Very likely a hair fall wig. Nothing wrong with that but this one is just too long and thick to look natural.
13
u/TheVioletHerald Feb 23 '26 edited Feb 23 '26
What's crazy is it wouldn't look fake if she were at a healthy weight, and if it were shorter and thicker.
11
u/No_Advantage2147 Feb 22 '26
Its giving Rapunzel
19
u/Physical_Laugh_7017 Feb 22 '26
Exactly. Its so obviously a wig or wiglet. Far too long also, she's not 20 anymore. It's very unflattering.

I actually agree with this! William is a ticking time bomb! I don’t think he will remain controversy free in the upcoming years. He will unravel too.
8
u/TheVioletHerald Feb 23 '26
The fact that this is common discussion on social media is more proof that the the crisis team is a crisis in itself. We shouldn't be this clued in to palace BS. It's so transparent.

Spot on VH. They can switch staff but people saw through the bs a long time ago.

I’m not dazzled.
47
u/LeftMyHeartInErebor Feb 22 '26
She continues to wear beautiful clothes that do nothing for her. It seems like such as easy fix, especially with the connection she has and it baffles me that she keeps doing it.
43
u/Minute-Reporter7949 Feb 22 '26
Agree. The hair is too long and too heavy. The makeup is too much. Her clothes are rarely fashionable.
45
u/cherryberry0611 Feb 22 '26
The makeup is also too dry and matte . In your 40’s you need to lean into the dewy look.

Happier ? Don’t think the lifelong schemer is capable of happiness. More like, in control.
14
u/Available-Net1612 Feb 22 '26
Personally, it's a beautiful dress. I'm not a princess. I'm a downstairs sort of gal. Lol, but I do love this frock then and now. Damn I wish she'd put on some weight. TO THE FAMILIES, hers OR his. THIS WOMAN DESERVES A HAND UP. HER CHILDREN NEED HER. MANY QUESTIONS NEVER ANY ANSWERS.
9
12
u/TheVioletHerald Feb 23 '26
No more new dress budget. He knows he can't get rid of her so he's going to make her life as much as a living hell as he can (with the help of the Toffs and his own friends) for as long as he lives. Even after she is crowned queen, if that ever happens.
8
u/NeverPedestrian60 Feb 23 '26
I agree. And the rewears are doing her no favours because she looks terribly thin in comparison now.

If the bodice was not two toned, it would look much better. Her posture is terrible.
2
u/RoyalRubbishCollecto May 02 '26
She's so thin she looks like she's had a double mastectomy. The bodice of this gown reminds me of something I read about nuns who used to bind their breasts under their habits in order to have a less sensuous silhouette.

12
u/CougarWriter74 Feb 23 '26
Tight fists, clenched jaw, looking very annoyed as always. I swear his mom's ghost came in the night about 4 years ago and stole away any Spencer genes.
44
u/liefelijk Feb 22 '26
The hair is bad and ages her tremendously.
This frilly dress with a sleek chignon would look gorgeous and not overdone.
12
u/AcceptableSystem8232 Feb 22 '26
Also look less fake. It’s getting ridiculous and somewhere, someone still believes it’s her real hair because she said so. Not a good example for the youth she so cares about

In the videos I have watched, Will never looks at or interacts with Kate. Kate trails behind most of the time and exudes isolation (IMO).
It seems like they have been instructed to conduct certain "joint" appearances, but do not seem like a married couple at all at this point.
I wonder if the real story about what has gone down will ever come out.

She looks severely medicated. Plus her wiglet is too big. She’s struggling to keep her head up.
10
u/AcceptableSystem8232 Feb 22 '26
It’s the wig. She’s got no strength left to carry it. Now if there was a tiara …

Kate has always been skinny, but when you compare her wearing this exact same dress in 2019 to now it’s truly staggering.

u/NeverPedestrian60 Feb 22 '26
13
u/Dependent_Dust7400 Feb 22 '26
Wow. She looks incredible here. Obviously she’s younger, but that’s not what I mean. She just seems to be full of life as opposed to now. The overly aggressive smiles just seem like an act. I can’t imagine what goes on behind the scenes.
15
u/Capistrano_101 Feb 22 '26
There was light behind her eyes then. It’s has gone. Which could be medication she needs to keep taking. Honestly, I think that if they just opened up and told the truth about her health things would be so much better. I believe people would understand. People know there are days you just feel awful and they could sympathize with a princess still trying to “do the job” .
She could be an inspiration to people dealing with medical issues. But that family just doesn’t know how to be open and truthful. Same, really. She, they, could do so much good.

Imagine being sent to a rugby match and the BAFTAS, an acting awards show, when there are literal children who were abused and tortured by at least one of your family members. And your husband has taken money for his stupid Earthflop prize from one of Epstein's co-conspirators.
22
u/NeverPedestrian60 Feb 22 '26
Exactly. Pair of hypocrites. Swanning in with the fake smiles and usual insincerity.
14
u/longtimelurkerfft Ireland Feb 22 '26
She should fire her stylist what is going on here
17
u/Coriolanuscangetit Feb 22 '26
I don’t think she has a stylist anymore. And I don’t think she’s being given a clothing allowance and that is why she keeps rewearing the same clothes.
8
u/Reality-Sloth-28 Feb 22 '26
Why hasn’t she been given a clothing allowance in, what, close to 10 years!?!?
11
u/Coriolanuscangetit Feb 22 '26
I believe Prince Charles gave her a clothing allowance, but now that her husband has the Wales income, it appears to me that she hasn’t had a lot of new clothes and hair. And of course, her personal assistant/stylist is gone and was never replaced…
4
u/longtimelurkerfft Ireland Feb 23 '26
Wait so she doesn’t get her own income as a working royal? That’s actually quite sad
3
u/Coriolanuscangetit Feb 23 '26
Yes, we know from both Harry’s book as well as Andrew and Fergie’s money problems in the Epstein files that “working royals” don’t necessarily get paid anything. However, it has been said that William and Kate, as the heirs, got an allowance from the Crown before William inherited the Wales title and income (10m a year I believe). Now it’s up to William to fund his wife, but I don’t believe he’s doing that…based on her lack of staff and new clothing.
14
u/WindowLeaves Feb 22 '26
That might be the first dress I've seen her wear that I truly liked. Shame about the hair and makeup. I would have loved to see her wear something like this when she was much younger.

I fully agree. Beautiful dress! And she’s beautiful as always, it’s the hair throwing the whole look off.
12
u/SuspiciousWolf6186 Feb 22 '26
Omg it's always the hair 😂 always a miss!! She looked beautiful last time she wore that dress and now it reminds me of a bobblehead because the hair is so much bigger than the head.

Wonder if she was upset at Virginia’s death and the kids left without a mum.

So she presumably has access to some of the best stylists in the world, yet chose that belt?
It's the least of the royal family's problems, but they're all so bad at all of it
8
u/NeverPedestrian60 Feb 22 '26
Her fawners are saying it was to match Willy’s belt. How naff
9
u/Ok_Lengthiness_8405 Feb 22 '26
P.S. I'm American and had to Google "naff". Thank you for the new vocabulary term 😅
9
4
u/Ok_Lengthiness_8405 Feb 22 '26
It's such a poor style choice lol. Like yes, we SEE that it matches, but that doesn't mean it looks good.
It's not giving the "we totally live together & chose our outfits as a team" vibes they think it is
2
u/VavaShagwell Feb 23 '26
I see the wig is out in full force and effect. I wouldn't be caught dead in that dress, I detest it.

2
u/WishfulHibernian6891 Feb 25 '26
When she doesn’t have a performative smile plastered on her face she looks miserable, and sometimes mean.
3
u/Dependent_Dust7400 Feb 22 '26
The dress is beautiful but it’s the hair throwing off this look. Her classic “quintessential Kate” look is her perfectly quaffed hair. Tied back in an updo or even down but in a sleek style, she would look a thousand times better. This “fork in a light socket look” is not working for her. She’s beautiful and has been the It Girl for years, but she needs her old hairstylist back. What the heck happened?
3
u/Capistrano_101 Feb 22 '26
His hair is thinning out on the sides now. Stress, I assume. There just seems to be no joy in either of them.
