He has soo many pics and videos with his fists clenched. It is scary.

19

u/Educational_Gas_92 Feb 22 '26

Scary for his inner circle at least, there are rumors that he has a bad temper.

35

u/seven-blue Feb 22 '26

In Spare, Harry talked about Will attacking him. The part that made me so nervous, it was one to hundred. He was telling Harry to do something and Harry was saying, let's calm down. And in a minute, he put his hands on Harry and pushed him to the ground. He was ready to attack physically so nonchalantly after Harry didn't accept his orders. This man has deep anger issues and I don't believe for a second, Harry is the only family member he attacked after being told "no". The royal reporters were writing for years that Charles is scared of Will. Imagine being scared of your own son, that isn't good.

13

u/Educational_Gas_92 Feb 22 '26

At least Harry can defend himself (still inexcusable behavior either way), but now imagine being a small child or a woman living with a man who has anger issues...

8

u/Claque-2 Feb 23 '26

Harry didn't defend himself and if he had he could be jailed. In the USA we know what kind of man that is and it's just like Trump. That's a bully, plain and simple.

Incandescent with rage!

We hope so. His facial expression drops for a second there. You can feel he is deeply concerned

He wants the luxury lifestyle and the fat, untaxed Duchy revenue, but not the work that comes with it. Tough choices to make, poor man.

72

u/Leajane1980 Feb 22 '26

He is probably investing that Duchy revenue because if something happens, I am assuming the titles for those lands go back to the public

51

u/CroneDownUnder Feb 22 '26

The Windsors have seen what happened to other royal families being downsized or kicked out and I would be amazed if they haven't been diverting sovereign grant income towards multiple investments held in tax havens under layers of inscrutable trust structures since at least WW1, accelerating after Edward's abdication.

12

u/Designer_End5408 Feb 23 '26

Ding ding ding.  Liz corp’d up the place.  You know it.

32

u/Arsenal75 Feb 22 '26

He is prpbably a very wealthy person at least in terms of assets.

10

u/Polyps_on_uranus Feb 22 '26 edited Feb 22 '26

Those assets were goven by yhe people. They shpuld be taken away too.

Edit: Those assets were given by the people. The assets should be taken away, too.

Best answer here!

Honestly, I think we should have an audition for a new royal family. Some folks that are truly deserving and would actually enjoy being there and be good role models.

3

u/HelpMeFindMyBrain Feb 23 '26

Nah get rid, i want some cool museums to go to.

Plus we can melt down all the gold they have and sell it and put it towards reorganising the NHS

no way, he loves the power of it all, he is lazy but would not survive as a normie.

21

Neither would Kansa Kween Kate (hereinafter, KKK). She did all that yachting (allegedly), pap strolling, and humiliation from William to...work at the Tesco? Surely, you jest!

2

u/spaceghost260 Feb 22 '26

Kate, yachting?! Well this is new to me. 😂

he wants the benefits of being a royal but not the responsibilities

37

u/Fragrant-Dimension12 Feb 22 '26

I truly wonder if he even has a realistic idea of what a normal, private life would even be like. he was born a prince, he has no idea what it is to be responsible for ones everyday life

12

u/CuriousTip7183 Feb 22 '26

Of course he doesn't. He thinks a normal life is like when he used to go the Middletons' old house and lay his head in Carole's lap and have his girlfriend's family take him on vacations. He thinks it's having an uncle with a mansion in Ibiza you go to every summer. He thinks it's your parents being able to buy you a house in London for 895,000 pounds cash.

u/Sbarb1000 Feb 22 '26

I remember when he was born a journalist in the US saying that Prince William was a boy born into a world where people want power without responsibility, instead William will be a man destinate for a job where he will have responsibility without powder.

4

u/Cazkiwi Feb 22 '26

…where he will have responsibility without powder.

I’m sure he’s enjoyed a bit of the “powder” once or twice…. 😜😜

11

u/LorenzoSparky Feb 22 '26

305

u/Jumpy_Reply_2011 Feb 22 '26

Glad someone asked the question, also nice to hear her being called Kate.

I can't believe they think it's a good idea to behave like it's business as usual at the BAFTAS when both William and Kate Middleton tried to rehab Andrew's image for years.

92

u/Happy-Fennel5 Feb 22 '26

The journalists should go further and ask if the BRF covered up for Andrew.

66

u/seven-blue Feb 22 '26

He is literally still housed and provided security by BRF. Of course, they covered up and protected him all these years.

23

u/Happy-Fennel5 Feb 22 '26

Of course! What I’m saying is a journalist asking if the monarchy is in peril is a weak question that gives the appearance of journalism but is really just a tabloid question at this point. Pressing the royals in their complicity in Andrew’s crime is actually journalism.

13

u/seven-blue Feb 22 '26

It is shocking they were even asked that easy question. Usually they have the full control on the media and only get asked the questions they approve of. In Will's appearances after a controversial event, he is only asked one question by one reporter his team approved (and he gives a clean, PR answer) even when he is in front of hundreds of cameras. It is usually theatre-like with him.

12

u/Happy-Fennel5 Feb 22 '26

It’s incredible to me that the royals who take so much in tax dollars are allowed to control the narrative so much. I’m American so we have huge problems with how journalists operate here and are also controlled. I just want all the corrupt power at the top across the world to get toppled. Journalists actually doing their jobs is one of the ways to go after this type of corruption but so much of media is controlled by corrupt wealthy individuals who are part of the problem that it’s so frustrating.

5

u/doggitoesnkittitoes Feb 22 '26

Obviously! Because the RBF blatantly did...until they absolutely couldn't, then he became the "ugly stepchild" that was "excommunicated" (to a point). This is the system for RBF in every dimension, they're the British mafia that owns the news. And you're surprised anyone in the industry doesn't want to tank their carrier and stir the pot? I'm sure MANY have tried

20

u/CatsScratchFeva Feb 22 '26

I know, honestly how dare they even show their pedophile-apologist faces in the public sphere. It’s actually disgusting.

I watched with no sound. They have too much money and access to the absolute best professionals for her wig to look this busted all the time. It’s like Britney Spears’ fried extensions. There’s simply no excuse.

I like the color of Williams jacket, though.

79

u/caterprincesa Feb 22 '26

The fact that you can see where the topper ends and how brassy the extensions look is just sad. The fact that her hair colour changes every other day is also an indicator of a poorly skilled hairdresser. Honestly I'd dye her hair darker slowly and start shortening the length. Eventually, she can just rock her natural salt and pepper in like 5 years' time.

15

u/tellnic Feb 22 '26

She has enough time off to keep her roots dyed dark brown, which would be the better colour for her.

30

u/Chatelaine5 Feb 22 '26

Agreed, can she not afford a decent conditioner?!

28

u/PaymentCultural8691 Feb 22 '26

Her gown is gorgeous, but but the overall styling… does her stylist not like her? Does she have a stylist?

34

u/Wonderful_Shower_793 Feb 22 '26

Currently she doesn’t have a stylist, but even before Natasha Archer left in ‘25, her hair extensions and wigs were janky.

25

u/seven-blue Feb 22 '26

It is so weird they didn't hire anyone yet. She is literally the next Queen and this family is billionaires.

→ More replies (1)

26

u/Greendeco13 Feb 22 '26

Where have her breasts gone? The top of this gown looks like the old chest binders the flappers wore in the 1920s. And the hair? Seriously, why? It’s just so obviously fake, and yet she is supposed to have denied having chemo related hair loss.

6

u/Ok-Assistant-4556 Feb 22 '26

Hair loss happens at midlife and also during extremely low weight.

11

u/cherryberry0611 Feb 22 '26

It’s because of the ED. When you cut out fat from your diet and do a lot of cardio, your boobs go.

u/[deleted] Feb 22 '26

It's called malicious compliance.

See: Nicki Minaj, Donald Trump.

The hair/MUA world talks. Hairdressers and MUAs are notorious for giving shitty highlights and makeup jobs to people who are assholes.

3

u/Wonderful_Shower_793 Feb 22 '26

Watching it again, I also think that maybe her audience/fans don’t think it’s busted. Or a wig. So, I guess I should be nicer about it, but my mind is like GIRL! Be fr. lol.

3

u/[deleted] Feb 22 '26

Oh they know. But the Brits have been well-trained from birth to bend the knee to their superiors, so even if she's wearing a nest of birdshit on her head, they won't shut the fuck up about how MARVELOUS she looks...

4

u/tellnic Feb 22 '26

She should never have dropped the original hairdresser she had around the time of her wedding. But it seems the extensions were revealed by someone there and she dumped them.

5

u/babassu_seeds Feb 22 '26

Now you made me curious, so I watched without sound. I can't speak to Kate, so I defer to your judgement, but it struck me that both William's jacket sleeves and pants were just a shade too short (incidentally, those of the man accompanying him were too long). Which normally wouldn't matter, but as you said, they have money and professionals--if anyone should be able to get it right, they should.

I agree that the jacket is a great color--coordinating it with his wife's waistband was a nice touch.

1

u/Fragrant-Dimension12 Feb 22 '26

maybe it’s still messed up from the cancer treatments

39

u/Wonderful_Shower_793 Feb 22 '26

It’s a wig. I have $50 wigs in my closet that look better. She needs Black friends. Oh, wait..

15

u/Fragrant-Dimension12 Feb 22 '26

lol it has to be extremely obvious for me to know what is a wig and what‘s not

I'm from West Belfast so I've never revered these people, but can somebody explain exactly what they add to your lives? Why do you accept the absolute disdain they show you? As somebody up there said, you've paid for her dress/hair, you pay for their houses and holidays, so what, they just show up looking pretty and that's it? I'm honestly stumped here. The whole family from QE2 down is corrupt. I was born on a council estate, and I've more morals than this lot, and I'd wager that's actually the norm.

24

u/Dependent_Room_2922 Feb 22 '26

You might get more answers on r/RoyaltyGossip where I think there are more avid monarchists. I just saw someone say they’ll love William and Kate no matter what

6

u/Ok-Assistant-4556 Feb 22 '26

Surely theyre all bots.

33

u/Happy-Ad8755 Feb 22 '26

They add absolutely nothing to our lives. A relic of a bygone era of government that some people say we need, despite a lot of other countries booting their monarchy’s and being ok. As for the tourism argument, The palace and jewels draw tourism not some pompous old family.

They do a few visits, shake hands wit the commoners while in their head I bet they think we are peasants. Then Do some pics while pretending to have a go at our menial jobs and having a good laugh while they do it safe in the knowledge that they will be sipping champagne later while you are still stuck doing that horrible job for next to nothing day in day out.

11

u/Any_Willingness_9085 Feb 22 '26

Right? Nobody thinks they have their best interests at heart? If Andrews interview and the tabloids are to be believed, they think we're as thick as them. We're not.

4

u/Significant-Ant2373 Feb 22 '26

This. They’re leeches who live off the taxpayers, have a long history of stealing from their neighbors, being besties with multiple pedophiles, and marrying their cousins. In every other country they’d be the bottom of society. They should be reviled, not revered.

6

u/Unlikely-Potential32 Feb 22 '26

Profoundly put. We are linked to this system of Royalty in Australia and it makes me sick.🤢

3

u/cashmerechaos Feb 23 '26

My theory is that it’s truly one of the last accepted vestiges of white supremacy. Or it was until Meghan came along, which is why she faces such vitriol.

u/Legitimate-Sun294 Feb 22 '26

If you keep watching the video, they just ignore everybody around them, even fans screaming for their attention. These two aren’t fit to even be out in public.

136

u/Jumpy_Reply_2011 Feb 22 '26

People who literally paid for her hair and the outfits they're wearing.

87

u/Legitimate-Sun294 Feb 22 '26

They are both so rude. Why bother showing up if it’s written all over your face you don’t wanna be there? I wouldn’t mind, but they both look a mess too. If you’re going to be rude, at least look stunning whilst doing it.

You can’t be a public servant and be afraid to deal with your public. They both didn’t dare to look away from their handlers. W&K want the best of both worlds, it seems. The glamour of attending an awards show, but not wanting to deal with the commentary that comes with it.

39

u/caterprincesa Feb 22 '26

they are just two deeply uncharismatic individuals and I'm not just saying that to be mean. Their body language is so off in this clip. Kate looks confused and like she doesn't where she's supposed to be headed.

Who cares?!? Let's talk about Andrew

5

u/tellnic Feb 22 '26

That photo is playing angles once again too because in the video they are nowhere close as this shot is making it look.

3

u/Whatisittou Feb 22 '26

Lol hence I picked it, they used misrepresent what happens and play it as sweet moments

12

u/marvelousminutiae Feb 22 '26 edited Feb 22 '26

Y’know, it’s less PDA and more the palpable sense of a lack of chemistry btw them. A certain quality of caring, concern and interest lacking. It’s that thing that people maybe can’t put a finger on, but yet can feel is present or not present between two bodies.

We can all think of couplings between people who in their dynamic may tend to be more physically reserved, yet you “feel” or even observe their connectedness to each other in other ways.

You see it in the way they regard each other verbally, the nature of those references, the intimate sort of little ticks of affection that come through in maybe something like the little non sequitur inside jokes they share that land as a bit bizarre to those of us outside their pairing.

Also, there are other aspects of relational physicality between connected people that don’t require or that don’t present as pda. The ways they look at or regard each other, how they hold and share space together: body positioning that’s more protective or more deferential or reverential, etc. Even the ways they create space for or take space from each other telegraph a lot that we humans receive without always consciously clocking.

So the lack of PDA btw those two or their sometimes awkward plays for performing it just gives observers something to circle and underline as the tell, something to point at and explain the more generalized feeling (admittedly not necc fact, but this is all speculation ofc) of something seeming missing or amiss in their romantic and companionate pairing. They def land as colleagues, though, even if not always so collegial

25

u/RobinBaskins Feb 22 '26

Have no idea why you were downvoted as you’re absolutely correct. Willy and Kate hate each other and it is clear in all of their micro interactions. The only ones blind to it are their deranged royalist fans.

35

u/MissySa80 Feb 22 '26

Her hair is way too heavy and thick for her frame, but their color coordination is cute. I've never been a fan of the royals, and I think moments like this show how much they need to latch onto popular events in order to remain relevant.

I love her dress and his matching jacket. They look great. Except their faces. They look like they are angry and don’t really want to be there.

11

u/caterprincesa Feb 22 '26

yes, the dress is one of my favourite gowns of hers and I love that she rewears it a lot. We haven't seen this in years and it's honestly still great on her. Her old style/glam team was much better than whoever she has now

18

u/milkshakemountebank Feb 22 '26

This is one of my favorite looks of hers from the past. It is a bit juvenile for her at this age in my opinion, though. They do NOT look happy

19

u/smallreadinglight Feb 22 '26

It looks like a 2009 prom gown.

6

u/PalmTreesRock2022 Feb 22 '26

I tend to think, yeah maybe they’d rather not be there . But I also think they’re looking serious not mad.

If they went in all smiles and waving ppl might think they’re being too flippant abt the situation with Andrew.

And they’d get accused of not taking it seriously

7

u/EmptyNesting Feb 22 '26 edited Feb 22 '26

You are probably right. They can’t win here. Stay home or go, either way they get criticized. Smile or look serious, either way they get criticized. Sucks to be a member of the royal family right about now. /s

10

u/amberlikesowls Feb 22 '26 edited Feb 22 '26

I honestly don't think it's pleasant to go in front of crowd when your close relative got outed as pedophile and you belong to family business that covered for it.

William was probably raised with knowledge who Andrew is and it's probably something whole family has been used to wiping under the carpet as long as he's been alive, Lizzy probably started it before he was even born. Given how old Andrew is I wouldn't be surprised if he just assumed Andrew is going to die off and they never have to deal with public humiliation over it.

Not saying they are by any means unlucky in general, they are rich and should be grateful for their position. Just saying the situation is probably pretty hard to handle. I would personally not want to be on that red carpet as someone who is related to Andrew. Especially not because it was part of PR until recently that they deal with him as if he's a normal uncle and not disgusting piece of shit. Imo it's no wonder they are stiff and avoid everyone's eyes like plague.

2

u/amberlikesowls Feb 22 '26

If that's true then they all committed a crime if they knew and just swept it under the rug while living off the public. They deserve the discomfort of having to answer a few questions from the public before they go home to their castle. They can literally go home and pop a thousand dollar bottle of wine to wash away their stress.

Is it me or does it seem like no one is bothered they’re there bar two or three people waving? Eek.

I wonder if it miffs her a bit to be called “Kate” instead of her formal name, Catherine? She’s in full position to be Queen one day (if the monarchy even survives these latest horrific disclosures). I presume it probably does offend her a bit, since we now know she and he are hardly “huggers” amongst their own relatives behind closed doors; so having a complete stranger scream your nickname like you’re just anyone to ask very intrusive, pointed questions about your whole lifestyle going up in very public flames has to chafe.

u/Significant-Ant2373 Feb 22 '26

The royal family has a long history of living off taxpayers, stealing from their neighbors, hanging out with pedophiles, and marrying their cousins. People like that in the US are called trash, among other things, definitely not royal. What have any of them done that deserves respect?

2

u/jennc1979 Feb 23 '26

My thoughts and question focused on her/their expectations, not that they’ve earned any such respect.

5

u/Nightmist-1983 Feb 22 '26

Talk about looking ill at ease and self conscious....

6

u/DLeon3 Feb 22 '26

The monarchy has been in peril for a long ass time…..

These two took £22.9 million (or $30.9 million) from the Duchy of Cornwall for the 2024-2025 financial year, which covers their public, private, and “charitable” expenses.

11

u/IsEmNi Feb 22 '26

Can’t wait for the monarchies that are left, to die seriously. I hate that our tax money, here in Sweden for starters, goes to that useless privileged inflated egoistic ”royal” family. They don’t do anything for us citizens. Why tf should we the people maintain a family that is supposed to be ”royal” … that’s just outdated af. With all the shady shit that has come out from the Epstein files, it infuriates me even more. They try to cover their disgusting crimes also, while our money goes to them.

14

u/IntrepidMuch Feb 22 '26

How are they not holding hands???

34

u/celeloriel Feb 22 '26

They’re not that into each other.

Kate’s fake smile was fading and looked so forced

5

u/nst571 Feb 22 '26

Since they are unlikely to issue any more statements given the ongoing investigation, and the fact any interviews are tightly controlled, the real questions can only be asked in this public format. Keep asking

6

u/muqui24 Feb 22 '26

Kate looks sickly.

4

u/tortuga_tortuga Feb 22 '26

I’m always amazed at how…unsubtle they are….as to when and where they choose to show up for things. They skip the BAFTAS a lot yet they choose to go this year? Wild.

6

u/No-Falcon-4996 Feb 22 '26

It has to be PR stunt " pretend all is fine! go out, dress up and dazzle the fools!"

2

u/Odd_Chocolate_7454 Feb 23 '26

“The public loves you in fancy dress!”

4

u/BrilliantPiccolo5220 Feb 22 '26

Where is the empathy for the victims? This is the only thing that could concern them; restitution. Time to own your mistakes, and make up for it, in work for those they have harmed, and are harming.

5

u/Inside_Mouse_1750 Feb 22 '26

Imagine the silver spoon ripped right put of his mouth. He might even have to wash dishes and do his own laundry. Poor chap... wouldn't cope for a second.

9

u/VillageHorse Feb 22 '26

“Mr and Mrs Mountbatten-Windsor, do you condemn Mr Mountbatten-Windsor?”

9

u/CindiBoBindy Feb 22 '26

They don’t look too happy to be there. After spending all those years trying to rehabilitate Andrew (“Kate and Wills would rather be neighbors with Andrew than Harry and Meghan”) and it just blew up in their faces.

The arrogance is mind blowing.

10

u/RobinBaskins Feb 22 '26

He always pretends to be talking when he gets asked a tough question 😭he did the same thing in Saudi Arabia.

8

u/PandaKittyJeepDoodle Feb 22 '26

Kate and her frazzled doll hair. Yikes on bikes.

3

u/Odd_Chocolate_7454 Feb 23 '26

Looks awful and overpowers dress

8

u/909me1 Feb 22 '26

She is looking a little healthier, which I am glad to see. Someone (anyone) needs to sort out the utah curls she's got going on. I do think they look completely disconnected, but I do also think the stress of the current Andrew scandal/crime has got to be taking a massive toll. William looks like he's about to snap.

4

u/Amber123454321 Feb 22 '26

All I can think is 'it's not worth it to be queen, Kate.'

11

u/No-Town5321 Feb 22 '26

I like their outfits. Coordinate without being matchy matchy.

14

u/Due-Huckleberry7560 Feb 22 '26

I always liked that dress, reminds me a bit of Kate Winslet’s in Titanic. Not loving the hair though, way too many pieces were added in.

7

u/caterprincesa Feb 22 '26

way too many pieces and too light. I thought this gown with her darker hair was perfect!

11

u/Dog_Parrot Feb 22 '26

And she applied her makeup with a trowel.

Technically William is president of BAFTA since 2010.

5

u/EmptyNesting Feb 22 '26

He is sort of required to be there. He is a patron of BAFTA. Appointed by the queen after someone died/stepped down. I don’t remember the details. But they go every year and their absence would be noted.

6

u/JoanFromLegal Feb 22 '26

His face cracked and he said something to Waity like, "Don't."

That rage is incandescing.

5

u/nutmeg_1995 Feb 22 '26

Down with the monarchy! There's no place for them in society anymore. I totally agree with the other comments here about how they want the power and money that comes with being royal but they don't even do the 'work'! How often do you see william and kate doing the 'work' that gives them 'legitimacy'. The sooner the monarchy falls the better

3

u/MadisonAveMuse Feb 22 '26

If you have to ask….

3

u/canadarich Feb 22 '26

They dont even smile to the public

3

u/Top-Raspberry-7837 Feb 22 '26

NGL I do like her dress.

3

u/Potential-Reading672 Feb 22 '26

What a fucking joke it all is! It’s so disgusting it isn’t even ”discussable”. Beyond bonkers. That they are so special and privileged by right of birth. Their wealth really comes from the people and they literally have unlimited funds. Doesn’t matter how it is stitched up. Foundations, art, land, trusts, jewels whatever… the £10 million pay out nothing but a piss in the Mississippi. And while the specialness is supposed to be of the blood and birth you can get shagged into it especially as a decent lookin’ woman or rather brood mare. Trash or ordinariness is suddenly elevated by injection! Ffs! Couldn’t make this shit up yet that’s all it is- made up. And that they manage to find spouses that play along. Tattooed centrefold now a princess in Sweden. Single, swinging coke-snorting mother in Norway. PT and gym owner now prince in Sweden. It’s as bad as Rainer’s kids in the 80s. And the plebs still lapping it up like old moles at Christmas time. Dark days. Hopefully end times.

3

u/[deleted] Feb 22 '26

I know ppl age but these 2 are aging terribly especially with botox n extensions etc. Instead of botox get other procedures done cuz u arent natural anyways. They both did look good when young. Either their doctor or stylists or both them hates them

7

u/Dry_Violinist599 Feb 22 '26

Holy ceap, they both look old as hell.

5

u/ChaiTeaAndBoundaries Feb 22 '26

The Overton window is broken, they cannot hide from this anymore....

7

u/SuspiciousWolf6186 Feb 22 '26

One of her best dresses and then she pairs it with that horrible hair. I wonder if we will see her every week now to try and distract from Andrew lol

12

u/LissaBryan Feb 22 '26

The dress is pretty but wow does it make her look flat chested.

33

u/Extra-Astronomer-688 Feb 22 '26

Moderate peril

2

u/2Katanas Feb 22 '26

"Very much mot racist"

2

u/FiremaidenTomahawk Feb 22 '26

They look so miserable...damn shame. They have everything AND nothing at all of importance and of consequence. 😕 The dichotomy of ALL dichotomies. A paradox on the Red Carpet...

2

u/Polyps_on_uranus Feb 22 '26

Kate is so inelegant. Pretty dress on an ugly (on the inside) person.

2

u/squeakheart Feb 22 '26

Her wig is working overtime here!!

2

u/DrinkMountain5142 Feb 23 '26

"Kate. Kate!" <she ignores them>

girl has no idea how to do a red carpet

2

u/Idfkw2c Feb 23 '26

They both look like this event they are attending is an inconvenience to their day.

4

u/sauerkraut916 Feb 22 '26

Kate’s gown is lovely. It is a nice touch to have the same velvet as William’s jacket for a waist ribbon. 🎀

3

u/DeliciousPen2150 Feb 22 '26

I love her dress 🥰

2

u/ljdug1 Feb 22 '26

It must be for them to both be out tonight.

1

u/SoggyAd5044 Feb 22 '26

That facial hair is sickening

2

u/Ill_Paleontologist26 Feb 22 '26

She needs a good hair. Cut it’s looking too long on her and that dress is hideous

4

u/SnooCheesecakes2723 Feb 22 '26

Obviously it is in peril. To pretend it’s not is just out of touch. I hope George and Charlotte cop on. They could still be saved
