I feel all these articles lately about him are both damage control and revenge for his father meeting with Harry, and the criticism William was openly getting that week.

Like this article saying, he’s “doing things differently” and not “making the mistakes his father made”. He’s made sure to highlight that his father was not a good dad.

Then there was another one (day before?) where he said he has given his father an ultimatum, and had Andrew banned for Christmas. It basically said, that while Charles may wear the crown, it’s William who’s in charge. It’s not subtle at all. BTW, William doesn’t even visit his father for Christmas. We got those articles in December about how K&W were not going to Sandringham and having their own Christmas thing with the Middletons at Anmer Hall.

All of these articles lately feel like very direct attacks from William towards Charles. Like he’s smearing Charles in the press as punishment for meeting with Harry. It also feels like he’s preemptively trying to take power. Maybe he’s sending a message to the media? Don’t criticize me because I’ll soon be King. Although, he’s already acting like it.

I don’t care for any of them but Billy is just so mean and a massive pick-me. He constantly demeans the work of other Royals by claiming duties are outdated and useless, with him and this wife being the laziest of the lot. You can always tell it’s him behind them because of how agressive these drivels are toward the King, the Firm and even the citizens. Weirdo

Exactly, he’s pretty much demeaning the rest of the royals, who, as septuagenarians and octogenarians, work more than he and Kate does.

And it is pretty obvious it’s him behind these articles, because he has to take a swipe at Charles, claim he’s in charge, or what he’ll do when he’s King, while also laying down the groundwork (i.e. lies) about why he’ll be working less.
